Hilton Waikoloa Village

10/10 Excellent

"I enjoyed my stay at the resort and LOVED my room. The walkways offered a museum feel and provided something to look at each day. The grounds are well kept and beautiful. I wish the Tram was faster but that is my only complaint. I ate off the resort so I cant comment on the food, but loved the availability of the shuttles to the shopping centers and the Lava Lava Club."

"We chose the double queen room with ocean view. It is partial view because of the way the buildings are situated. You need to get a room overlooking the ocean for a full ocean view. Otherwise the view is still beautiful. Beds are high so if you have a disability, or elderly it would be best to request a room for disabled or handicapped. The bathroom is set up with wheelchair access and grab bars and space for toilet easy access and space. Rooms are close to elevator and the ice and water machines on each floor. ABC convenience store, clothing, art coffee shop. There is a calendar of scheduled activities to learn hula and lei making. Tennis court, pool and beach access, cabanas and can be set up for a wedding destination. I was there with my elderly mother for a wedding. It was so beautiful. About of Hawaiians art and a Heiau as well. Perfect for water sport and there are lots of off property shops and restaurants. Kailua-Kona has grown so much. And the Courtyard Marriott has done a great Job renovating the property. What else can I say, I was pleasantly surprised and will stay there again. Rooms are very clean, staff is pleasant and helpful, breakfast buffet available or menu. Great place to stay."

"Had a beautiful view from our room in the bay tower overlooking the bay and Huggos. The room was perfect for our stay, clean and comfortable. The resort is a bit outdated and needs a refresh, but nothing that took away from the experience. Parking is $25 a day and the resort fees getting charged at checkout was a bit of a surprise, but nothing too crazy."

"This resort is incredibly maintained and the staff is so courteous! The soft sand at the beach is a nice change of pace from the lava rock “sand” at other beaches on the Big Island. Fresh water dispensers are located throughout the resort- thank you!! The food is great at each restaurant. Recommendations: Could benefit from an additional hot tub!"
