That said, this hotel makes up for it in many ways. It’s clean, well-maintained, and the front desk staff are exceptionally friendly and always willing to help or answer questions. Having a translation app handy definitely makes communication smoother. The breakfast is a standout, offering a wide variety of delicious options to start your day right. Overall, despite the smaller room size, the service and quality make it a great place to stay. I wouldn’t hesitate to choose this hotel again on my next visit to Kyoto."

"This hotel was modern and very convenient to use in Kyoto as it was a very short walk to Kyoto station for taking multiple day trips to other cities and areas of Kyoto and easy access to the Shinkansen for additional travel without having to wheel luggage very far! "
