"Loved our stay at Castle Mountain Chalets. So convenient to get to Lake Louise and Lake Moraine. Loved the game room. My family used it every night we were there. Can’t wait to come back again"
"This place was magical ❤️ Lovely accommodation right next to a river where we could chill out and relax. Close to Lake Louise and we enjoyed a lovely trek up the six plain glaciers tea house."

"Great little boutique hotel at the top end of Banff avenue. Parking was spacious and convenient. Room was compact but well appointed. Hot pools are great for the kids. Housekeeping was inconsistent with timing but efficient. Hotel was quiet and the AC worked. Free Roam bus tickets were a nice touch. The breakfasts at the neigh outing Canoe (same owners) are excellent. "
"We had such a wonderful experience at Baker Creek! It was the perfect getaway for our entire family. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the location couldn’t be better—just a short drive to Lake Louise, Moraine Lake, and the Icefields Parkway, yet peaceful and serene compared to the busier downtown Banff.
Some of our favorite moments were sipping coffee by the river in the crisp morning air and winding down at night with s’mores and a cold beer after a long day of hiking. It felt like the best of both worlds—close to everything but surrounded by nature and tranquility.
We did have a small hiccup during our stay, but the staff was incredibly friendly and quick to resolve it, which made us feel even more confident about choosing Baker Creek. We can’t wait to come back!"
"We absolutely loved our stay at Storm Mountain Lodge. Our cabin was cozy and comfortable, and they provided kindling to have a fire in the fireplace. The lodge was cozy and charming, and our two dinners at the restaurant were both fantastic. I would return again in a heartbeat. The lodge was also a great location between Banff and Lake Louise, with nearby hiking also available."
"These are so close to the Johnston Canyon enterance. The canyon can be very busy but this loation makes it possible to beat the crowds in the morning. The cabins are cute and they allowed our dog to stay with us. As typical with the area, there were lots of bears so just be sure to practice bear safety while walking. Loved the staff too! "
