Great Stay

We had a great stay at this location. We had my kids as well as my mother and father and we all enjoyed the house. Everything was clean and it was stocked with everything you’d need from kitchen supplies to pool toys and beach chairs. It was perfect. Check in and check out was easy and we will definitely plan another trip back.

Amelia Island

Was a great stay. Weather wasn't as warm as we had hoped so didn't utilize the pool. Kids enjoyed spa. Having a golf cart to travel the neighborhood was great. House is great.

Family vacation on Amelia Island

We are a family of five with three teenagers- we used the bikes, the golf cart, the pool, everything the house had to offer! Beautiful neighborhood on a great property as part of the Omni resort.

Great Vacation!!

This property was just as described. It was wonderful!!! My family and I had a great vacation here! I had a few questions throughout the week and they were answered immediately. We plan on coming back to the property for many more vacations!

Perfect experience!

Charlene is a wonderful host. Very acommodating and kind. The house is BEAUTIFUL. The pool and hot tub are a huge perk. Amelia island is the perfect location and the house is in a luxury resort property, so you can take the golf cart to the beach. We will be back💕

Wonderful place

Major renovations-A home run! From the inside to outside, magnificent! Amazing time grilling at the new outdoor kitchen while children were in the pool and other adults watching a game on the new outdoor TV. Amelia Palms is definitely the place you want to go to relax and recharge. The golf cart and bicycles provided during our stay were so much fun. We will absolutely be back and real soon! Thank you Amelia palms for a much-needed vacation!

Family Beach Trip

An annual event but the first time we have stayed here. It is in the Omni and perhaps one of the nicest properties we have stayed at. I gave 4 stars for cleaning instead of 5 as there was a light or 2 that could use some dusting. The home was lovely but the bathroom situation was not ideal. While it lists 3 bathrooms, there is a Jack -n- Jill bath between 2 bathrooms and a very nice enclosed outdoor bath with shower.

Wonderful stay

The home was clean and spacious. Charlene was easy to contact and quick to reply. We didn't have any issues, but she did care enough to ask if we had any questions and let us know to reach out if we did. The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet. Beach access is nearby. The golf cart was a great benefit getting to the beach, shops and mini golf. We had an awsome time in the backyard oasis. We spent most days enjoying the pool and hot tub and in the evenings we grilled out and toasted marshmallows around the fire. My family was very impressed with the home and amenities! The only complaint is having to leave.

Family vacation

We love this house for the location! Hard to find a private pool and private beach at an affordable price! The home is a gem but does need some repairs. The bathroom ceiling was in bad shape when we arrived. We notified Bryan and within 30 minutes a repair guy showed up, which was impressive! We've already rebooked for next year because the location is so perfect! It would be nice to see some upgrades to the beds and pillows. Even a memory foam topper would be a good addition. All in all, a wonderful stay 😎

Sensational place to stay!

Our stay at Amelia Palms was sensational. The home was so inviting. We booked to attend “The Amelia”car show and fell in love with Amelia Palms. The host was very quick to answer any questions I had, and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. From the well-stocked kitchen to the new plush bedding, yummy pillows and pristine cleanliness, all our expectations were met. Some of our highlights were having coffee early in the mornings by the pool and listening to the birds singing. Each bedroom has its own private seating area with lush tropical plants. The house is on a cul-de-sac, which was very quiet and no traffic. We used the golf cart and bicycles, which are provided, to go to the beach, the spa and shops, and even the on-property restaurants. My husband loves to cook and used the outdoor kitchen constantly. We are hooked and have already booked for next year when we can stay longer. Bottom line – we highly recommend Amelia Palms. The outdoor/pool area truly felt like paradise.

Most enjoyable in many ways

This is a spacious & comfortable home with a lot offer. The beautifully landscaped & well appointed patio is the star. A refreshing pool, a relaxing hot tub and an outdoor kitchen provide a lot of options. We enjoyed the fire pit, too. The beach is a 15 min walk via the tree-canopied paths in the peaceful, lush neighborhood. Or take the golf cart included with the home for a 5 min ride to the beach access. We enjoyed riding the bikes provided to explore more of AI. At night during leisurely strolls in the neighborhood, we could hear the ocean’s waves. The house allows a lot of room to move around in your own space or shared space with others. Plenty of fluffy towels & decent bedding plus a generous supply of consumables (which many rentals don’t offer). Didn’t use the kitchen much since AI offers many good restaurants. Charlene is very responsive as needed; but no communication during our stay due to her good planning & forethought. We’ve stayed on AI before; we found the Omni Resort to be more desirable than the north end of AI. Don’t hesitate to book.

Perfect Vacation!

Me and my husband and our two adult children just returned from the most wonderful vacation at Amelia Palms. We loved every minute of it. I agree with all previous rave reviews so instead of repeating, I will just say the house was beautiful, spacious, convenient and the "little touches" that Charlene left us made us feel even more comfortable there - like we were truly her guests. Welcome messages, a nice bottle of wine - There were many products left there for our convenience - everything from paper towels, toilet paper, Kleenex's, plastic wrap, foil, to GREAT and CLEAM kitchen small appliances - sharp knives, dishwasher, laundry and hand/body soaps, shampoos, conditioners... these little things added to a stress-free and comfortable stay. There was even a net available to us so that we could easily remove the leaves out of the pool. We were in Florida in mid-August and the weather was so spectacular that the pool water temp was actually cool! Perfect way to end the day at the beach. We used the bikes and golf carts and hot tub. Did not use the new grill, outdoor TV or fire pit but they were clean and ready for us!! We had NO issues and I particularly appreciated that we were allowed to rent the house for less than one week. I also recommend going to the Omni Resort Spa for a massage and taking an Amelia River Sunset Cruise for an even more spectacular stay in Amelia Island. Do not hesitate to book this gem!

Great location, house not in good shape

I could write a lot here. After waiting more than a week to submit this review, I hope I’m able to be accurate without going overboard. The house was once lovely, and it could be wonderful. Perhaps because the owners are not local, it has fallen into a sad state and I would not consider returning unless they spend some time and money on it. I say this despite LOVING the island and the resort. There is a serious, visible mold problem in the second bathroom and extending into the adjacent bedroom. The bathroom ceiling is collapsing and the mold that is a part of the collapse is growing in the a/c conduit, out the vent and blows directly onto the bed. My daughter and her husband vacated the room and slept in the kids’ room - with them - for 7 days. I notified the owners immediately and they sent two contractors while we were there. No resolution. I will note that - as I go back through the VRBO reviews - other renters have previously commented on this. Yes, I rented anyway, thinking it couldn’t be so bad. I was wrong. The house and grounds are not being cleaned/maintained. IMO, the owners are being ripped off by their services. I have told them this, Not working were the dishwasher and disposal. I was promised a replacement dishwasher by the third day and it did not materialize. Be prepared to deal with kitchen waste garbage and to wash your dishes by hand. The bedding old, cheap and poor. Bring your own pillows.

Amelia Palms is exceptional and communication with host was very helpful. The pictures do not do this property justice. It has so many extras and the home is so beautiful inside and out. Our grandkids loved morning rides on the golf cart and swimming in the pool. Well stocked kitchen to include coffee bar.We will definitely return to Amelia Palms.

Our stay was actually from October 11 through the 17th. First, the communication with our host, Alexandria, was beyond excellent. She was able to help us through a few hiccups with our stay. I would’ve rated a five except the pool heater took two days to get fixed. The property is in a great location and is very private. It just needs a little tender love and care. Having a golf cart and all extras like bikes, Beach chairs, etc, makes it all worthwhile. My family and I definitely would stay here again, Alexandria, for all of your assistance.

We had a great stay at this vacation rental in Amelia Island! The home was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The pool and golf cart were awesome extras that really added to the experience. We had a minor issue with the pool during our stay, but the owner was incredibly responsive and had it resolved within an hour. Great location, great communication. we’d definitely book again!
