"Awesome property, great staff and roomy comfortable accommodations. Breakfast is awesome. On-site restaurant (Kerriges) is superb. Quiet location close to shopping, shows and the Underground. Bring a device that can Cast your content to TV so you don't have to try to find something to watch on the confusing TV/Media System, the channel guide is awful. "The gentleman at the reception desk with a French accent helped us a lot with the check-in process, since we had 10 family members, over 10 big to small luggage, and 3 room reservations over 2 days. He is friendly and professional in sharing all the information we need. The only disappointment was that the hotel management closed the B1 public meeting room after 8 p.m., so I had to sit at the lobby table for 2 hours to meet my team in California. Two Merlin Waterloo staff members that night were not that friendly and helpful during that critical time."

"The room was clean and comfortable and we were centrally located to major attractions. The front desk manager Kahlia (spelling) ? was very helpful and customer service friendly. He held our luggage until our room was open and escorted us to a waiting room for coffee or water. We appreciated all the staff and thank everyone for their kindness and hospitality. As an extra we were able to wash/ dry our clothes for free as that was also a benefit of staying at the hotel."

"The location was amazing and the staff was very kind and helpful. Great location for walking the city. We were there during the heat dome so the room was quite warm but the lobby had air conditioning. Under the pullout bed it hadn’t been properly cleaned from previous guests - there was an empty water bottle and some food crumbs not from us. Otherwise great and I would recommend to my friends."

"My biggest issue was with reservations. We were traveling as a family and my mother booked the wrong night. She tried to have the reservation switch to the right night. They refused. She had to pay double for the right night and pay for night she didn't use. I felt they wanted to double dip on the night she booked wrong."

"If you just want a bed and hot shower this place will work for you, however, if you’re travelling with someone else then you had better be in intimate terms as the bathroom is separated by a glass (frosted) wall. The room felt ‘budget’ all be it designer budget, but lack of anywhere to sit other than a very low bed and cold concrete floor made it feel cold and uninviting. We missed the fact there was no tv so was a bit surprised. This place is great if you’re out late and crashing at the end of the day. Fab location with so much on the door step and very close to tube and buses."
