Ednam House Hotel

3.0 star property
8.6 out of 10, Excellent, (455)
"The house itself is a gem and the owners must be congratulated on keeping all the woodwork and features just as they were. The fireplaces too with proper log fires - brilliant. Being charged £15 per night for having the
dog
with us and not even a water bowl provided was rather odd. That said everyone was brilliant with our pet. "

SCHLOSS Roxburghe, part of Destination by Hyatt

5.0 star property
9.4 out of 10, Exceptional, (204)
"Beautiful hotel, had a lovely stay here. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Room lovely and clean, very modern. Pool and gym facilities were great. Loved the heated pool. Had a lovely breakfast, lots of options that suits all needs. Breakfast staff were polite and friendly and took our orders quickly. Beautiful grounds with fountain and a lovely swing. I was slightly worried as it was a
dog
friendly hotel but we did not see many
dogs
and any we did see were well behaved. Thankfully....

The Central Guest House

3.0 star property
8.0 out of 10, Very good, (55)
"Situated in the very centre of Kelso, convenient place to stay when exploring the area. Checkin was done very easily, with clear instructions sent beforehand. There is a Greggs just in front of the hotel, and also several restaurants and takeaways in close vicinity. There was double glazing in the room, and hence better insulation. "

9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (2)
"If it's peace and quiet you want in lovely surrondings, this is the place. It's immaculately clean with everything you need for a self catering break. The view from the lounge, bedroom and conservatory are amazing with lush green fields as far as the eye can see. The host is lovely and friendly. Would highly recommend if you want a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life in quite surrondings."

The Old Smithy Converted Blacksmiths - Sleeps 7 and pet friendly (upto 2 dogs)

10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (46)
"We stayed at this property for two nights in October. We were given a very warm welcome upon arrival and shown how to use all of the equipment within the cottage. The cottage was very well equipped with everything you'd need and more. The welcome hamper and delicious cake in the fridge were an added bonus. The garden was immaculate and absolutely beautiful - our
dogs
and toddlers very much enjoyed playing in it. After staying in many cottages over the years this one was the cleanest we have ever...

2 bedroom accommodation in Town Yetholm, near Kelso

9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (12)
"Lovely cosy cottage with gorgeous views. Owner was really friendly checking we’d settled in ok. Great location (as long as you have car) to get to nearby towns and attractions. Shame there wasn’t a pub within walking distance (as the road was too risky to walk on at night), however, the food and staff at the local pub in Yetholm (approx 1.5mile) were lovely and welcoming and food great! The only criticism I’d have of the cottage is that the bathroom and some decor could do with updating, however...
