"Booked this place for my family in early October. Douglas House is in a great location. Close enough to walk to restaurants, shops, and attractions, but away from most of the bar noise. Our rooms were spacious and clean. Balcony was nice for just hanging out. Pool looked nice but we didn't get a chance to use it. Overall, a great place and we would come back again."

"We are very thankful to The Reach Hotel for allowing us to check in early on the day of our arrival. We arrived during a heavy rainstorm, at least two hours before the regular check-in time. Despite arriving early, we were graciously given a room and were able to access the restaurants on the property while we settled in.The staff were extremely attentive and provided exceptional customer service, hospitality, and delicious food throughout our stay. The following day, the weather cleared, and we were able to enjoy the pool area. Once again, the pool staff were friendly, attentive, and ensured we had everything we needed.This was our second stay at the property, and it certainly lived up to our expectations. We will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you so much to everyone at The Reach Hotel for your outstanding hospitality and for making our stay so enjoyable. "Whenever I stay at the Wicker Guesthouse, the staff is always friendly and helpful. They can suggest activities, as well as book them, give discount coupons and easy directions. The cleaning staff are friendly and helpful too. My room was great, accommodations are older, so expect a noisy air conditioner. But the bathrooms were updated and everything was very clean-the sheets and towels smelled so fresh. Breakfast buffet has a large variety, pools were clean with lots of seating. This is the first time I brought my pet and they have a minimal fee. You really have to look for some green space but about 1.5 miles away there is a dog park down at Higgins Beach. Dogs have a tendency to compensate for their environment 😃. I love that the Wicker Guesthouse is walking distance to all the restaurants, bars, shopping, Mallory Square and the southernmost point. There’s so much to do and so little time. I would recommend staying there. I had a great stay!"
