"My friend and I stayed here with the intention of experiencing Ireland outside of the city and it greatly exceeded expectations. The house was open and comfortable without losing it's farmhouse charm. What I didn't expect was how many truly nice experiences were nearby. Our focus was a home base while we did the Ring of Kerry and a bit of country exploration but it is oh so much more of that. The nearby town of Kenmare has incredible food and ample shopping. "Hotel was beautiful, stunning setting with gorgeous views across the lake and mountains. Staff were all professional, friendly and made a huge amount of effort to ensure that we had a great stay. Food was excellent in both bistro and the restaurant again made more special looking out across the national park. Our room was clean and comfy, with all the amenities you require. "

"Very beautiful hotel and wonderful staff. Location is a little far from city centre, about a 45 minute walk but the staff was helpful to get us a taxi. No air conditioning which we noticed as we were traveling during a heatwave, but the room was still comfortable enough. Very clean and spacious rooms."
