"Great location for a lake-based holiday and close to a medium sized shop. Carolina was efficient and quick to act. The rooms were as advertised. The large balcony is wonderful and cooking/eating together was a high point of our holiday. The laundry area was easy to use and access. There were some huge rainstorms during our stay and the flat stayed dry. The beds are comfortable, the bathrooms are clean. The sofas are comfortable. We rented kayaks from Carolina which was great fun. We were left to ourselves to enjoy the flat, garden and area. There flat has its own entrance and with the gate you feel safe & secluded. There's free parking inside the gate in a covered area. You can move the single beds together to make a double bed in the twin rooms. The living room area is well-lit, airy and comfortable.Some points of improvement: We started off with a leaky dishwasher and a blocked bath (Carolina had them promptly fixed). The property doesn't have aircon and only 4 fans were provided so one room had to go without a fan, which was quite sweaty in August. The kitchen is stocked with utensils to cook for 9 except for oven tins, casserole dishes and sharp knives."

"L'appartement n'est certes pas très moderne mais il était propre et bien équipé, et la place de parking est un vrai atout. Après, c'est surtout son emplacement qui est super : vue sur le lac, accès au lac pour se baigner et au village d'Orta en quelques minutes à pied. "If I could give Villa Crespi 20 stars, I would! 🌟 We have stayed at many beautiful hotels, but Villa Crespi has completely redefined hospitality for us. We left feeling genuinely cared for—and perhaps a little spoiled for every hotel that comes after! From arrival, every detail was effortless. We were welcomed with cold water, the staff arranged our anniversary dinner, drove us there, escorted us inside to explain that we were their guests and mention my dietary restrictions, then returned to pick us up. The next morning, the staff surprised me with freshly prepared gluten-free breads, cream-filled croissants and chocolate torte. Knowing we had a boat trip planned, they created an extraordinary picnic for us: beautifully prepared sandwiches, snacks, chilled sparkling water, champagne on ice with glasses, fresh towels, and even tea-tree-infused refreshing towels for after swimming. They drove us to and from the boat as well. Our room was magnificent, with an extraordinary view, a comfortable bed and every amenity imaginable. Even our departure was thoughtful: cold waters waiting inside of the car, and we were given gifts from their kitchen to take home. This is what true 5 star hospitality means: not just luxury, but anticipating a guest’s needs before they ask. We were so moved by the warmth and thoughtfulness of the entire staff that that I left handwritten thank-you notes—something I have never done before. This was more than a hotel stay- it was an experience. 🌟"
