"The hotel is beautiful, with lots of places to sit and relax, lovely gardens and an excellent swimming pool. There were always pool chairs available and poolside service for drinks. The food in the buffet and at the a-la-cartes was excellent. You will never go hungry here, there is always something delicious to eat. The beach is well maintained and the attendant is quick to bring you a lounge chair, they could do with a few more umbrellas at the beach. The staff are friendly and professional. Our favourite place was the sunset bar overlooking the ocean. The view is stunning at any time of day and especially just after the sun has set. We will definitely be back to Iberostar Playa Mita. "

"Our group of 6 women, celebrating our 55/56 birthdays enjoyed our stay immensely. Everything was absolutely wonderful. Our unit was so spacious, offering so many spots to enjoy our week together. The patio was definitely our favourite for dining and dancing!Rogelio, our concierge, offered exceptional service from start to finish. Our chef, Noé, did an outstanding job preparing our beautiful fresh meals always with a beautiful smile on his face. The layout of this property is breathtakingly beautiful. The upkeep is superb. The beach is beyond words. I only have praise for the team that that is running this place!! Gracias!!! "

"The pics do not do this property justice. It is absolutely stunning. And big enough that my family (7 adules, 3 kids) could all have their own spaces. The property manager was amazing and so accommodating. She got us answers to all sorts of questions. And the beach was right there. Sat by the pool and watched the whales jump.... This beach is not a tourist beach and the locals were very respective of our private beach. And there are 3 great restaurants withing a 5 min beach walk. The drive to the home is a bit bumpy. I would recommend just hiring a driver/uber/taxi when/if you want to go somewhere."

"Everything was wonderful during our stay. We were able to take our two dogs with us. Our room was on the second level and it had its own outdoor space. There was a third level we up to view the scenery around the hotel. We went swimming in the pool and sat in the sun in the loungers. The staff was very accommodating and invited us to a Christmas brunch along with the other guests. We will definitely be returning soon."
