Overall positive experience. The only thing that was a minor issue was still having to deal with stairs after using the elevator which was inconvenient when dealing with large suitcases. But I can’t really fault them for it since no doubt it’s an old building and shoehorning an elevator in is going to result in some interesting choices architecturally. But other than that I enjoyed my stay.

Absolutely incredible stay, gutted we were only there for one night! Fabulous breakfast, willing to help, received a discount and voucher on arrival to use in their pub (pies were soooo tasty). Only negative thing would be the lift is slightly slow but honestly not even an issue with limited rooms. I was surprised the lift was there! We were given a free upgrade to the “Hitchcock room” which was beautiful and more than enough space for all needs. Again, amazing stay highly recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Blackbird. The room was homey and spacious. Breakfast was included and was plentiful and delicious. We appreciate the discount on food and beverages during our stay. We often ate in the dining room behind the bar area which was much quieter. The dinners were delicious! The location is ideal with a Marks and Spencer Simply Food across the street and the tube station a 2 minute walk. Staff at the Blacbird were helpful and accommodating. They even carried our luggage up three floors when the elevator broke down. We would stay here again!

London Favorite!
3rd stay for my Heathrow overnight layovers and this has become my favorite. Great staff, large clean rooms and a great breakfast off the menu. Very convenient from Heathrow as Earls Court station is across the street. Also great restaurants and shops within walking distance

I truly enjoyed this hotel. Small and cozy! Very clean rooms with an outstanding service. I also liked the dining option right there. This place reminded me of The Library hotel in New York.

Great location next to Earls court tube station. We took the tube from the Heathrow airport to the hotel which was very convenient. Clean bathroom, great breakfast that was included in room charge, friendly staff. Our room faced the street so it was noisy for me, a light sleeper. I put on my AirPod and it blocked the noise so all good. We will definitely stay here again !

Super cute, could use a couple of comfort tweaks
Good location very near to tube station and M&S. The rooms and attached pub are excellent; food and service are great. The look and layout are really well done, the place is very clean and decor charming. The room is very small which is typical, but no place to put clothes or a suitcase so my suitcase was opened on the floor taking up the only bit of space in the room. The area outside was pretty noisy and the door to the elevator right outside the room was very loud with other guests coming and going late night. Biggest disappointment was the bed & pillows which was all very uncomfortable. I’d suggest a mattress topper and some decent pillows… At $526 for 2 weeknights, I expected a decent nights rest, which unfortunately we couldn’t get here.

Great find in Earls Court
Stayed at this hotel previously, staff are always very welcome. Rooms are small, but the location is great, breakfast is good, but be an early riser for continental as trays are not replenished as they once, cooked breakfasts are very good. We had a large case with us, which we did not need for our 1 night stay, reception kept it for us to save lugging up the stairs and falling over it in the room - much appreciated that kindness.

Initially, I was welcomed warmly and impressed by the lovely room decor. The cleanliness of the place was top-notch, and the quality of the food was decent. However, my experience soured towards the end of my stay. Despite having obtained approval for a 12pm late checkout from the front desk during check-in, my final morning was disrupted by aggressive banging and shouting. Megan, the source of the disturbance, was vehemently ordering me to vacate immediately. Remaining composed, I explained my approved late checkout, but she aggressively insisted I leave to avoid an extra night's charge and that they don’t do late checkouts. When I returned later to retrieve my bags, Megan acknowledged the mix-up and that the initial staff member had indeed confirmed the late checkout. The evident miscommunication caused considerable stress and unease. I will never stay there again when I visit London.

So convenient over the road from Earls Court Undergrouond station. Nice hot breakfast was included in our tariff. Lift to get your luggage to your room. If you arrive early they are happy to mind your luggage so you can set out to explore until check in time. Very clean room and decent sized bathroom.

The highlight of staying at the Blackbird is definitely the staff and level of service. Every person we dealt with was so accommodating and helpful. We loved that breakfast was included and that you receive a discount in the restaurant for other meals. We didn’t spend a ton of time in our room but the only downside for us was the TV cable was bad so the picture kept cutting in and out.

A convenient, comfortable stay.
The coffee pod machine was appreciated. There was a fridge in the room and the room was air conditioned.(Not many places in Europe have that.) The room was nicely furnished. The meals that we had at the hotel were good! The only disadvantage was that the lift was out of operation. 2 flights of stairs would be a deal breaker for someone lacking in mobility. Being close to Earls Court tube station is very convenient. We were able to take a Piccadilly line train directly from Heathrow, saving a lot on transfers.

Wonderful room in a great pub. Lovely little touches . Only minor issues no bottled water in room or plug in sink . Forgot to mention. Has Nespresso pod machine and handy for all high street shops including M and S . Breakfast was good though pastries were gone and not replaced by 9 am . Staff were helpful and checking was smooth

Spectacular!!
The Blackbird was our first stop in London and we were thrilled! The location is even better than expected with the station across the street and plenty of stores, cafes, restaurants within steps. The staff was amazing - kind, efficient and professional. The pub/restaurant downstairs was GREAT! Breakfast was stellar! The only downside was the size of the room, very small and a little tough to maneuver with two people. Totally worth that tiny inconvenience because it is comfortable, cozy and spotlessly clean. Excellent value. If we are lucky enough to get back to London, we will definitely return. We stayed in 4 other locations and this was, by far, the favorite. Thank you!

Check in was easy and no problems occurred also received a nice free drink voucher for the bar which was lovely. The room was lovely, clean and great amenities provided. The TV built into the bed was broke but they did have one on the wall (just a little weird why the broken one was still in the bed). The reason for the rating happened at 5.30am when the pub below the room received what felt like enough alcohol to keep it going for a year in the form of kegs that were thrown down into the cellar, this didn't stop for over 30 minutes and I really couldn't get back to sleep. On checking out the lady behind reception didn't ask how my stay was so i didn't feel like I could say as we didn't exchange too many words.

Great hotel, very comfortable.
Second stay here, this room was larger than the previous room (London standards). The room was very comfortable, an oil heater helped warm the room when we first entered, which was welcome. Once the heated air vent started to work, we did not need the oil heater. The bathroom was definitely on the chilly side, towel rail did not provide heat. The bathroom was clean and plenty of towels, robes provided in bedroom. The shelf above the sink caused minor problem when cleaning teeth. Check in was good, very friendly. Breakfast was very good. We will certainly use this hotel again.
