"Delightful host Jules and wonderful property - our room was beautifully decorated with en suite bathroom facilities. We booked room only and this worked out really well for us. Breakfast a short walk to Truffles met our needs and there are lots of other places to eat locally. Jules told us that although she will not be offering breakfast she will be providing hampers for guests soon - we will definitely be returning for her excellent hospitality. It made our trip. "

"Lovely decoration and clean with all the facilities you need. Email with access codes. Booked room because of view and King bed, but bed was a double and smaller than our own bed. Confusion over parking and if there was a private car park. Didn’t receive any info. Be aware of the bikers and motorbikes that tend to park outside the property and could wake you up if a light sleeper."

"I arrived later than should for check in due to delays but was still able to book in. The room was very clean with a lovely big comfortable double bed. There was tea and coffee in the rooms plus a television which was an added bonus. The shower room was extremely clean and the shower was lovely and hot. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone. "

"Positives first, we had a family wedding near by and were allowed to check into the room at1pm instead of 4.30pm which was greatly appreciated. There is ample free on site parking and the building from the outside looks very nice.However the property is very dated and in desperate need of renovation."

"This is not a hotel or a B&B, its a room with shared Bathroom/Toilet. There is no check-in but a key-code which is not a problem. Check-in is at 15.00 and check-out is at 10.00 Apart from the front of the building we never saw anything remotely Tudor in our room. You will be asked for a deposit but to be honest there is nothing in the room worth £100.00. The Bed was clean and not uncomfortable and the owner is helpful when you ask for anything. "

"Nothing fancy about Hipbone but it was pleasant enough, we were visiting the racehorse + it was about half a mile away which was ideal. Breakfast was ok, a bit cold but I didn't complain. "

"We arrived at 6pm and waited 10 minutes to check in. The room we reserved was unavailable. We drove for 20 minutes on single track to arrived from Shrewsbury. The breakfast was none existent. The room was clean and tidy but the lighting was terrible. I think 6.0 rate is suitable."

"The house is located in a quiet and secluded area and is impressive as you approach from the drive. The games room is helpful and reasonably well appointed although showing signs of being "well used" Whilst providing reasonable value for money, typically the kitchen could do with updating and providing a more comprehensive range of cooking utensils.
