"The room had a balcony with a panoramic view of the Loch! We sat out there every day/night sipping wine and enjoying the beauty of the Loch and the surrounding hills. A 3 minute drive to the quaint village of Luss and the local shops and restaurant made this hotel the perfect place to stay. The rooms were spacious with easy access to the beach and the restaurant served excellent food! We definitely would stay here again!"

"Hotel is well situated and we had good stay and enjoyed pool. Also enjoyed both buffet breakfast/dinner in the restaurant. My companion has mobility issues and hotel is on quite a steep hill.She did manage it! Staff helpful but explation about cost of breakfast not transparent so make sure you are clear how much you are due to pay"

"Ideally situated for the castle and jail up hill and the town down hill. Room was comfortable, large and quiet at the back of the hotel. Parking was busy at the front of the hotel but we parked easily at the back. Breakfast was excellent: both cooked and cold selections available."

"We stayed for one night to break a journey, very friendly staff food in bar very good. Rooms very dated and furniture old but it was acceptable, very quite location good nights sleep. Windows in the bed room opened lovely and wide so loads of fresh air on a hot night. Wonderful view of the Wallace monument. Did not have breakfast as early start.Loads of parking on site and not charged if you entered your reg at reception."

The views across Loch Lomond are truly stunning, and watching the sunrise on the morning of our departure was a beautiful moment. The food was outstanding in both quality and taste — a real highlight of our stay. But it wasn’t just the scenery or the fantastic room that made the experience memorable; it was the people. Every member of staff we met was welcoming, upbeat, and clearly proud of the service they provide. Our stay felt calm, comfortable, and well looked after from start to finish. It was a lovely break in the journey, and we left feeling refreshed. Thank you to the Duck Bay team for making our visit so enjoyable."
