"We stayed in a superior dockside room and it was exceptional. Very spacious, well appointed and spotlessly clean. The food selection at breakfast was great and the staff went above and beyond to provide a gluten free selection for my wife who has coeliacs. The hotel is located across the road from the Everton stadium. Prepay the £10 per day parking and you can come and go as often as you like. Only minor drawback was the £30 charge to use the pool area which put us off using it. "

"Our room was comfortable and well presented, check in was easy and welcoming. The hotel was easy to find and in a great location right by the park and a short stroll from Lark Lane. A few minor DIY jobs need seeing to in the room and bathroom which do not impact the function of the room but make it feel a little run down- things like light a light bulb needing replacing, some skirting board coming away in the bathroom, and redundant fixtures from when hand soap used to be supplied in bottles fixed to the wall etc. The TV is a bit difficult to see from the bed because the fancy bed frame is in the way! Overall, this is a fairly affordable place to stay, with a bit of a 'faded glory' vibe on the outside. We may well return next time we stay in the area. "

"Always a pleasure staying here. Rooms are basic but very clean. Breakfast buffet is good and staff are excellent - friendly and polite. We always stay here when we come to lovely Liverpool and will be back soon!"

"Very pleasant,quiet,well maintained,spacious accommodation with lots of clothes hanging space.Big bathroom with shower, though was quite a high shower base to step into. Did not used any of hotel facilities ( bar or restaurant) but enjoyed view from room over charming garden area. Accommodation block well away from hotel so not disturbed at all by Tom Jones tribute night! "
