"Amazing place with amazing staff. We were greeted by a very kind staff member as soon as we arrived. The pool and hot tub were welcomed and the room was spacious and comfortable. We loved that our room had a fireplace that we actually got to use. Breakfast was not amazing, but it was included. We would definitely stay again!!!"

"Room was a bit aged, a lil dirty. Overall not too bad but I don’t ask for much. It was a bit loud in the surrounding areas in room 217, and it reeked of weed. I am not opposed to bud but damn I don’t smoke so someone must be, around us. So I am assuming people are living in the hotel. Especially in the surrounding rooms of 217. Idk if they used these rooms for Expedia only or what. There are no vending machines. Staff was very kind tho! It was fine for 1 night for the weekday we stayed, but for anything else for “Monterey” prices, especially weekends, I would pick something else."

"Look, it's a solid motel. It's got what you need to sleep comfortably overnight in an area that provides a plethora of adventure and opportunity. Save your money on the expensive hotels and spend it in town. It's not the quietest area in town, so you'll want to bring something to mask the noise or bring ear plugs. That's probably the only drawback."

"The walls are thin, you can hear guests above you if you’re not on third floor, otherwise very clean."

"Very basic. Recently repainted. It could use further up grades. Room had microwave, mini fridge , tv and coffee maker."

"Verbal requests for handicap accommodation were ignored. I learned I had to book at time this request at time of making reservation . Unable to shower during vacation. Had called 2X to arrange prior to arrival. + Room had no view and far from dining."
