"Valet staff were excellent!"

"The room was nice. There is some slight wear and tear in some spots. It was bug free, so that's always a plus. You can tell that the owners are doing their best in keeping the rooms updated. I liked the bed and the nice hardwood floor. The bathroom was ok. Liked the walk-in shower. I came for a big convention, and I was within walking distance. The hotel is affordable compared to bigger chains in Downtown Phoenix."

"This is a 100-year-old hotel and has had very little remodeling in that century. It was significantly less expensive than other properties in the vicinity of the convention center. But as they say you get what you pay for "

"The room had a lingering cigarette smell. Had to ask the front desk for assistance, change rooms or have some air freshener to use. Ended up sleeping with the window open which wasn’t the best thing because now the room got loud from all the traffic and movement in the hallway. "
