"Staff great, downstairs areas (bar, restaurant, food, etc) great. Bedrooms were really grim - horrible smell (stale cigarette smoke) and can't open any windows in the bedrooms. Would never book again for that reason which is such a shame as the staff are great"
"Nice Clean room staff very nice and friendly welcoming only things which could be improved on are the main carpets in corridors look a little tired but room was spotless and faultless. spot on and excellent value for money and no tea and coffee in room but they have made it free from bar downstairs. Id stay again without hesitation breakfast under £10 very good too "

"Hadn't realised that they don't have restaurant open on Sunday night. Open Monday to Saturday. Luckily we'd had a Sunday lunch. Bar was pretty busy so I'm surprised they didn't sell snacks, sandwiches, cakes etc."
"Very clean and lovely large room. Nice views overlooking the canal. Pretty quiet considering the proximity of the main road. Entering the Shower was a faff as the door didn't open wide enough and kept falling off it's rails. Food service and quality left a little to be desired. Not cooked very well and want asked if everything was OK with our meal and Not offered a dessert menu when sent main course back...?? Would recommend staying but will eat elsewhere if we stay again..? "
