"A lovely country house hotel. Our room was very spacious with an outside patio where we enjoyed a complimentary glass of wine. The bathroom was large with a bath and a shower. We ate in the “Tasting Room” and very much enjoyed the tasting menu. The area outside the hotel has pleasant area with tables and chairs which we enjoyed as it was a warm sunny day. The hotel is quite expensive, but we thought it worth the money. The spa was OK, small and a little tired but we enjoyed our swim in the pool....

Newbury is an absolutely beautiful get away from everything place in itself. I love the town and the variety of shops and restaurants that are on offer. But Newbury is also a great base, we visited Winchester, Oxford and the Cotswolds whilst there.
