"Perfect location for traveling to-and-from Kyoto Station, literally opposite the Hajicho East exit. You can use the station to see practically everything you might want to see in Kyoto. Nice clean quiet rooms, larger than normal for Japan. Don’t miss the breakfast in the Japanese restaurant in the basement Uoman…. It’s divine, if you like Japanese food. Regional specialties you won’t find elsewhere. The Aeon Mall next door is also great for travelers. Lots of options at regular (non-tourist) prices."

"This is a very big hotel located right next to Kyoto station. It has taxi stations out in the front of the hotel; one for foreigners and one for citizens. So very convenient for managing traveling. Yes, you can hear the trains going by from inside the room since the station is right next to the hotel. However it did not prevent us from sleeping well. "

The air conditioning in the room wasn’t controllable—although they informed us about this from the beginning and even provided a fan at check-in, which helped. Cleanliness was good, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, it was a pleasant stay."
