"I would highly recommend this hotel for families who want to be a quieter neighborhood but within very close proximity and walking distance to the action of the Gion district. We normally stay at 4-5 star hotels, but seeing how most hotel rooms in Japan have a max of 3 people per room, I decided to try something different and booked an Executive Apartment which was perfect for our family of 4 (2 teenagers). At first I was a bit concerned about staying at a hotel without an official front desk, but they were more than accommodating and were available to help when needed. I appreciated the proximity to the Family Mart for all our last minute needs (extra socks and cooling spray for the summer heat!) and convenience food cravings, and it was a very short walk to great restaurants, temples, subway line and the bustle of the Gion area. Overall a wonderful experience and I would absolutely stay here again! "
