It was a nice touch to our visit. Overall, Imperial Hotel Kyoto was fantastic. From the beautiful surroundings and excellent service to the unforgettable rooftop, we loved it all! "Comfortable bed. Clean room. You have to step up into the bathroom and down to get out which could be a problem if you have knee issues. Location is good. Breakfast was priced high for the selection. We didn’t take it for the second morning. We were able to sleep with our window open which was good because we did not have control of the AC, and it cooled down enough at night that the outside air came in."
