"This is a very well located, convenient and good value hotel in the heart of Shrewsbury. It is a very old and characterful building - so don’t expect any mod cons or amenities. And in particular don’t take any heavy luggage. However- the staff are extremely pleasant and helpful. Linens etc all up to scratch. There is no bar onsite but there is a beautiful one next door. The location is superb however for navigating the town."

It would be better for a update socket to be put in so it allows power leads for charging the ipads/computers/ telephone while in bed. Just a suggestion."
