"Nice building from the outside, yet much work needed on the inside. Decor was outdated and many creaky floorboards. There was an odour of a retirement home! However, rooms were very clean, as was the dining room, bar, etc and staff were great."

Cheryl and Dave are fantastic hosts. They are friendly, interested and really car about their business. Decor is well chosen and fits into the surrounding area with a modern twist. The cooked breakfast is tasty and freshly cooked. I would highly recommend this place .

A little gem of a small hotel. I don't often review hotels although I travel quite a bit but this was lovely. The fluffiest softest bath towels ever! Breakfast is beautifully presented and very fresh. Parts of the hotel have little more old fashioned aspects with a bit of chintz but that's all fine as it is very clean and a very comfy bed with a modern large bathroom (we were in the courtyard annex rm14). We didn't have dinner but it seems to always be booked and has good reviews. Very helpful...
