"This spacious apartment was in a perfect location for us -- within a 20-minute walk (or a 5-10-minute tram ride) to the museums, canal tour, and other sights at the top of our list, and quiet at night, away from the ruckus closer to Centraal Station. "The location is fantastic. Literally right next door to the Rijksmuseum. Our room overlooked the street which I liked. There were large, beautiful windows that you could open. There’s a restaurant on site, though we didn’t really use it. There are plenty of restaurants and shopping within 10-15 minutes walking. I would definitely stay here again"

"Bait and switch. I booked a room with a garden view. When I got to my room, it faced the street, noisy with construction. Back to the desk, where I was told all the garden rooms were booked "because they have a nicer view." Yeah, I know - I booked one, but didn't get it. Photo of listing room type I booked (taken after when I went back to check the listing) Also beware that although the hotel has an elevator, it does NOT go to some levels. I still had a flight of 10 steps after taking the elevator. Room was clean, small."
