"Dikker & Thijs was wonderful! I had to unexpectedly change my plans due to weather conditions canceling my flights and the staff was very helpful and considerate. Every staff member I interacted with during my stay was lovely and welcoming! The room was very cute and the location simply can’t be beat. You can walk to everything you want to see and if you need to use the tram, there’s one right out front. Despite the tram being so close and it being close to great bars and restaurants, the rooms were very quiet and we had a room facing a canal/street so I was expecting more noise. I can’t wait to go back to Amsterdam and I’ll definitely be staying at Dikker & Thijs again!"

"Great stay. Room was clean and functional. I would’ve loved some conditioner in the room but not a huge deal. Check-in process was a bit tricky for me as the front door was locked. It seems like everyone else thought the check-in process was straight forward so most likely this was user error on my behalf. Otherwise, great stay and would recommend as long as you’re content with being about 40 minutes away from the central area by foot. "

"We have no complaints. The room was clean, bed good, noise issues from the toilet in the rest of the room and some leakage of water from the shower. All the staff were lovely and breakfasts very good"
