"Nice clean comfortable hotel for a great price. Just a few blocks away from the subway to be able to catch a quick ride into Manhattan. Staff was very friendly & added breakfast to my parents stay for free since they for got to select when they booked their room but I had selected in."
"Rooms are big for NYC standards. Eclectic rooms fitting the boutique vibe, small balcony with a bistro set and updated bathrooms. We would stay again. We got to the property about 11 am and was informed check in is at 2.30pm. They said they had rooms but early check fee is $80 or they could store our bags and we could come back after 2.30. Not used to paying for early check in, but somewhat typical NYC. Front staff was efficient. 2 bottles of water and a big refrigerator were in the room. It would have been nice if they replaced the water bottles for our 2nd night stay. Overall would recommend to friends and family. "
Holiday Inn Express Long Island City E New York by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"Maybe coz it was holiday. The vending machine ran out of bottled water. The engineer Surish was very kindly gave us a bottle from his own stock. Appreciate his kindness. "
"We stayed 2 nights. It was one of the more affordable places, considering it was fashion week in New York City. I loved that it was close to the subway, but it served its purpose for what we needed it be. The rooms were clean. I do wish there were chairs on the balcony. The room is a little dated, but other than that everything was clean, which I think is more important. "
"Nice hotel for the price. Access to food options in the area are decent, and access to the metro by a 5 minute walk is great. Would book again if on a budget. "
