"Fantastic location on the marina. Easy to walk anywhere. Don’t mind that there’s no breakfast, lots of local cafe’s to eat instead. Had a marina view from the room. Shower was fine. Room clean. Duvet cover had a split seam, but that didn’t matter. Free parking in Lidl. Great stay, thank you."

"Found this little gem for a one-night stopover for an early flight out of Bristol Airport (only a 15 min drive). Lovely welcome from the young lady behind the bar. Very comfy room (pudding and pie) despite no air con did have a cooling fan - ideal for the current heatwave. The food was very good but not a great selection of beers on tap. The complimentary continental breakfast was a very welcome surprise, and you simply help yourself when you are ready - ideal for those like us who need to leave early in the morning when no staff are around. Would definitely stay here again when we next fly from Bristol."

"Beautiful, quirky and very homely, perfect space for 6 adults. Very well equipped home, beautiful garden, reasonably quietly situated, yet close to amenities and the bus route into centre. Overall, exceptionally clean, one or two things I needed to communicate with the host but these were quickly responded to and did not affect the enjoyment of our stay. Communication overall has been excellent and questions were responded to in a timely manner and with courtesy. Would definitely stay here again if we needed a large place in Bristol and highly recommend."

"The property was exactly as described and everything we needed as a base to stay and visit family.The location was lovely and quiet and despite the hosts living just behind, it felt like we were in our own hideaway.Liz and John were so friendly and helpful and there were even toys and games available for the children to use, which they loved!The cottage was well equipped with everything we needed and the welcome treats were a lovely bonus. All in all a fabulous week was had and we couldn’t have asked for a better house to base ourselves."

"I have stayed in all 3 rooms now The last visit was not as relaxing as the first 2. probably as I had the smallest room but it was still good. Very comfortable beds in all rooms. clean and well maintained. the only issue with me is the doors do bang a bit and the door to the owners accommodation is along the room corridor so if they are in and out its a bit noisy but fortunately not all the time... I like the PUB the location and the comfort of the rooms beds. so all in all a decent place to stay but just remember its a pub and they have people and music going on until 2300 but not every day. still I would stay again. As I try to support the small business where I can."
