"Superb hotel, can’t wait to stay again! Quirky fun decor with luxury extras in room and bathroom inc eco toiletries. Only negative was check in from booking online can take up to 2 hrs so I was left in reception (shattered with a disability) until 11.30pm awaiting the room to drop onto the system despite showing proof of booking and payment. The staff were great but their hands were tied. Head office need to sort this anomaly out!"

"After booking on Hotels.com website I received an email stating that the pool and spa facilities would not be included in the price. As this was not advertised anywhere on Hotels.com website the advisor had no option but to give me complimentary passes. I’m glad because there is no way I would have paid for the facilities, the pool was tiny, there were only 2 showers and it was not relaxing at all. As a disabled driver parking was confusing, no signage but at least it was free. The staff at the front desk were very welcoming and helpful. However, the bartender on the morning that I left could not understand that a Latte should not look or taste the way it did and proceeded to take £4 off me. The room was nice but not as clean as I expected. There was dust on top of the mirror and headboard in the main room. The chair by the TV had holes in it and the side table wobbled. In the bathroom there was a hair bobble left in the shower tray, there was pubic hairs on the bathroom floor and when you flushed the loo, big black bits from the rim came loose and settled at the bottom of the loo (from not being cleaned). The bed was really comfy though and it was nice to have a good size TV to watch. "

"Great location, just up the road from a shopping centre and only half an hour walk into the city centre. Room was basic and in need of an upgrade & repairs. Staff were very friendly & welcoming"

"The room was very dirty. The tiles in the bathroom are full of dust. At 11 they close so if you late you cannot check in"
