This is my second time at this property in the year. It has large rooms and it is close to all the restaurants stores and beach. The room includes a hot plate fridge microwave and coffee maker. Remember to bring utensils pots and plates etc. it is also close to a supermarket where you can find unique and well priced souvenirs. The hotel is well priced and well located. Also included is a breakfast at chez waffle next door which can fill you up till dinner. Thanks again for a great stay and friendly staff like Eidi, Jackie

I have stayed here many times over the last few years and it never fails to impress! The bed is comfy, the roku tv gives me youtube comedy i love before sleeping, the warm water shower in a big bathroom is excellent and the included breakfast is amazing with wonderful staff and superb coffee each morning! Highly recommend and will return if i need a hotel again in playa! Excellent!

Friendly staff, room was always clean. Breakfast was always delicious, pool was in shaded area of property so we chose to use the roof top pool across the street which was perfect. Also the beach was a block away as well as famous 5th Ave. Very ideal location with inexpensive accommodations. Simple and favorable property conditions with 24 hour staff. If your on a budget this place was great!

Normally when I go to Playa Del Carmen, I stay at all inclusive resorts nearby but often find myself going into town a lot. This time I opted to stay right in town. The double suite I got was large and spacious. The location was great. It was convenient to the beach and to 5th Ave and lots of dining options. The staff were really great too. I would definitely stay there again.

The room was comfortable but next to the washing so it’s quiet loud plus it’s bright in the room with the blinds down. Breakfast at Mr.waffle isn’t bad and worth a bite so no complaints!

I liked that this hotel looked very unique and it fit the vibe of the surrounding area. It was antique and very much jungle vibes. What I didn’t like was that our toilet was barely flushing and the sink water kept pooling up. however, we told the staff and they resolved the issue. Overall everybody was nice and we were treated nicely.

I had an excellent stay at this hotel, one of the best I ever had, considering the price. I was in the master double bedroom suite, which was very large, with a bedroom, a living room/kitchen and a bathroom. But what surprised me the most (which wasn't in the description of the room) was that I had a huge private terrace all for myself! The apartment was in great condition, I loved the decor. It had a fridge with a freezer which was key considering the hot temperature outside, so I could stock up ice creams and cold drinks. There was AC and also 4 ceiling fans, which made it very pleasant. The location was perfect, in a super safe area just round the corner from Avenida 5, with so many options for shopping and eating, and a supermarket just a few seconds away. The ADO bus station is just 12 minutes away Just a couple of things, which did not affect my score as my stay was very enjoyable: 1. The breakfast is served in a cafe' next door, which was very good just there were only a couple of options free of charge: an omelette or a chilaquiles, whilst in the room it said that waffles were also an option. I am not used to salty breakfast and in any case I got a bit bored of eating the same thing after a few days, it would have been nice to have a few more options, including some sweet ones. 2. The apartament has a stove and a microwave, however no cutlery, plates or pots, which would have been very helpful. I definitely recommend this place to everyone staying in Cancun!

No hot water in room 201. Mirrors slightly dirty. Sheets/pillow cases smelled of body odor. No WiFi, no tv that worked. Good location, excellent customer service, made every effort to appease problems, was provided with free breakfast at nearby restaurant which was very yummy. Nice atmosphere, gardens. Rooms were larger than expected and nice. Bed and pillows were comfy for enjoyable sleep.

My toilet broke, the handle on my bedroom door fell off and I got trapped in my room. The sheets were stained and room wasn't very clean. There was no hot water. The staff was great though and the location was right in the middle of town.

A nice choice, near the 5th Avenue (a big plus) and the Mamitas Beach. You have plenty of options for food and beverages. The property is interesting very holistic. The room is enormous! The thing i didn't like is that my TV didn't have cable or... service... I needed to ask ay reception about a Rokú to watch... nothing, because it was blocked by a PIN that i didn't had... The wi-fi was good, but you need to connect to other network, not the one that the info tells you. A big plus: the breakfast, plenty of options, but the only day i was there, i ask for the chef's recommendation, and it was a fail... they didn't gave me anything else.

The property was clean and close to everything. We booked for two queens but got a king bed so we had to share. The kitchen had no pots and pans or utensils. We asked the reception and one staff said they don't provide them, so had to buy them. three days later, one staff said that they do provide them and gave us a pot. It stated that we would get a welcome drink but got none. When we asked, the receptionist said, we could get one tomorrow.

Childcare services terrible. I had asked for a crib I didn’t receive that. Baby’s spill lots of stuff and there was no napkin or extra towels to clean up. I asked the staff for anything to help and they said they don’t have any and if I used their towels and stains were made I will be charged. It’s in the middle of the city so there is many people drinking and lots of noise. Definitely don’t recommend for a child under 3.

First day manager or owner not sure she was very helpful. But it was very load night time. Under the hotel it’s a bar and not possible to sleep. We request another room. We were lucky they had one gave us bigger room. They didn’t clean new room very well. Couple spots easy to see dirty. Also breakfast only 2 plate option and small. Breakfast employee was charge us tea because we order coffee and isn’t like so we want to replace our coffee with tea but they charged. It’s kind of tourist trap like other mostly places in the area! We didn’t extend our stay in same hotel! Needs improvements!
