"This is a lovely hotel. It's well placed for a visit to the Cotswolds. There is a large car park, check in was easy and our room was so nice, overlooking the lake. Breakfast was good, a self service buffet with lots of options. All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. We've stayed here several times and it never disappoints!"

"Stunning visit- stayed just for 1 night but could not have been better. Upgraded room to Suite which was stunning. Flawless service, great food, and the Spa was brilliant. Thanks to all the team, really special stay. Feedback note- some confusion between kitchen and hotel services as to whether breakfast was included- kitchen disputed whether it was included which is a little awkward. Apart from this very minor note, was fantastic. "

"Hotel is well-situated for visits to other places in addition to Oxford (Woodstock, Wallingford, riverside pubs, etc.). Hotel facilities are very good (fitness room, restaurant, etc.). Staff were efficient and friendly. All-round excellent hotel, but it was a bit early Nov 21) for 24/7 Christmas music!"

"Love this hotel, stay weekly on business. Stayed this week in Room 144, best one yet, full of character, bay window, exposed timbers wall and ceiling, modern bathroom. Food was excellent, as usual. Had the chicken supreme which was delicious. Keep up the great work! Many thanks "
