"Room was pristinely clean. Beds were comfortable. Nice en suite bathroom with good shower. Facilities to make a hot drink were replenished on request. Staff were friendly without being intrusive. Didn't eat supper in the restaurant because veggie options were limited. Breakfast was awesome. Would definitely stay there again and recommend to anyone wanting accommodation in the area. Very close to Penrhyn castle and Bangor centre."
"Ideal for a stay in a nice little town, bed was a bit too soft for me.But I like a extra firm bed as my preference.
Room was nice & spacious, and Bathroom was spacious too.
Lovely walk in the morning to the Dingle. shops are 2 seconds away so perfect location."
"Our first time staying here. We were impressed with the friendliness of the staff, the heads up on A55 problems and that there was a silent fan in our comfortable bedroom on one of the warmest days of the year. The evening meal and breakfast were very good too. We will be back."
"The property was spacious, clean and comfortable. We were visiting zip world and the property was in a perfect location with only a 15 minute drive to Zip World.
The communal areas were more than big enough to accommodate our large family and the beds were comfortable. "

Pass the Keys | Modern en-suite room in country Pub/Restaurant (1)
8/10 Good
"A very modern and compact en-suite room with comfy bed, settee and television. There is a shared kitchen/dining area and a pleasant outside seating area.
The cooking facilities are very minimal - microwave, small air-fryer, toaster & kettle. If self-catering, the downside is not having a hob or freezer compartment in the fridge, but meals are available in the pub downstairs.
The location is very quiet and peaceful, within 15 minutes drive of Beaumaris, and there is ample parking space in the pub carpark.
We had a very pleasant and relaxing stay there."
"We were here for 3 nights June 2025, the accommodation suited all our family, including our pet dog. Very spacious, well equipped kitchen providing everything we needed.Sleeping accommodation and storage were great. Lovely outdoor space with modern garden furniture, and secure for our dog, who loved the garden. We had a lovely stay."
The Palms Holiday Home Near Beautiful Benllech Beach - children and pet friendly
2/10 Terrible
"Where do I start, Upon checking in we were given instructions that the key was in the key safe .. it was not! after multiple calls to the seller I finally got a reply to say it was under the plantpot. Next we entered the house through the broken gate and the door with broken/unsafe blinds on them and came into the dirty living area, there was no way my baby was crawling on them floors, I got out the mop which was bone dry even though the cleaner was meant to of cleaned that morning, and i mopped and bleached the floors , the water instantly turned black. Next we checked upstairs to make sure there was a travel cot we opened it up and it was filthy mucky and full of old crisps. Also upstairs stunk this is due to mould in the air vents and dog hairs all over the carpet , after I vacced upstairs I drove to bangor argos to purchase a new travel cot and mattress, later that evening i went to give my baby a bath and the shower used to fill up the bath as their is no taps , was completely broken and water spurting out of the shower pipe. After a terrible nights sleep on musty bedsheets we refused to stay there another night and booked elsewhere. Do Not Stay At This Property. It is not safe for children, pets or even adults. "
Pass the Keys | Modern en-suite room in country Pub/Restaurant (2)
4/10 Poor
"Pass the keys were awful to deal with. We received a text from a company we had never heard of and weren’t expecting. Expedia could not confirm it was legitimate, Vrbo in the first instance were no better and Pass the keys were rude. Vrbo eventually took ownership and were able to confirm the company were legitimate and we made the verification and paid the deposit and £10 fee. It turned out the 3rd party had changed their name but the listings had not been updated.
Check in was easy, parking was great and it’s in a great location. The room was disappointing with a roof beam splitting the bed and it was very noisy with the bar underneath and the other people staying in the property.
It was very nicely done out, just needed the bed in a different spot in the room and some soundproofing.

8/10 Good
"The positives for our stay are - very clean room, warm, spacious, nice shower, easy check in. The communal kitchen area was a nice addition, very clean with good equipment for guest use. The negatives that we found were there was a lack of storage space for clothes (no wardrobe or drawers - just a small shelving unit that had some coat hooks around it) so we had to live out of our suitcase. The shower room itself was very small. When other guests were using the kitchen it can be quite noisy. We ate in the pub one night and prices are very reasonable but we werent overly impressed with the food so didnt eat there again (which was a shame as that was part of the reason for booking this location). The metal staircase to access the rooms could be a problem for anyone with mobility issues. The communal balcony looked like it had safety issues (some.of the artificial grass had been pulled up in one corner, some tables and chairs were upturned and there were at least two pieces of slate on there that looked like they had come off the roof)therefore we didnt use it which again was disappointing as we had beautiful weather, no one informed us or gave us any sort of information on the issues. All in all it was a good stay but dont think we would stay again disappointingly"
