"We had a great time at Chateaux Rhianfa, we stayed for a week in the hotel. Peter and Seren were friendly and attentive at breakfast, Claire and the other ladies great on reception. Claire helped us to upgrade from a lodge room to a hotel room.on arrival at an additional cost. The location is perfect and we never tired of the Menai Strait views. The lounges are very comfy and furnished just like a stately home, wonderful, again with the stunning view. We only ate once in the hotel restaurant as...

"An absolute gem of a hotel. Friendly, welcoming hosts who worked so hard to make every guest's holiday perfect. Exceptional service from all the staff, perfect location, free off-road parking, beautiful rooms, wonderful selection for breakfast. I could not fault this place and Dan and Wei should be very proud of how they run the Lansdowne House. Will definitely book again."

"This is a lovely place to stay. We were well looked after, my gluten free dietary needs were catered for and the staff were very accommodating. The house is old so we expected that the rooms might be ‘quirky’ but we had a dangerous fault with our shower that could have resulted in serious scalding incident. We have informed the managers so they can deal with it. Dinner was 5* as you’d expect in a place with a chef of this calibre - wine and port also excellent. Pricey, but not excessive....
