"This hotel is in a great location right by Tower Bridge and nearby to Tower Hill tube station for getting around London. Lots of restaurants, cafes and bars nearby and the hotel bar and restaurant is also really good. We had a nice room overlooking Canary Wharf and the river. Room was clean and bed really comfy. Friendly staff also. Would definitely stay here again when visiting London. "

"Location of the Clarendon is a 15 minute bus ride from the 02. Bus stop directly outside, with frequent arrival and departure 24 hours. Arriving at the hotel we was able to park in the hotel parking to the rear with pleanty of spaces. 1st impressions of the hotel did not dissapoint as we was greeted with a clean spacious lobby and very well presented, smiling receptionist. Room was very big, overlooking the front of the hotel and Blackheath Green on the 2nd floor. Though there is a busy road to the front this at no point caused any discomfort with traffic noise. The room again was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. Though the bedroom was larger than expected the bathroom was lacking size wise as it was very small but adequate and again spotless. Our room was cleaned after 1 night which we didnt expect and was happy about. All staff are professional, courteous and well presented and plentifull without being over bearing. Having arrived late evening and a long drive we made use of the games bar which again was very pleasant and not overpriced. Breakfast was included in our booking and it again was plentiful, fresh and constantly replenished. We are early birds so tend to be at breakfast 1st thing though we did notice on both mornings that after an hour there tends to be a queue and very busy waiting for a free table even though the dining area is quite big. Train station direct to central London is a leisurely 10 minute walk through Blackheath Village."

"I truly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The location was perfect, and everything throughout the visit ran very smoothly. The accommodations were comfortable and well maintained. One small suggestion would be to include a spoon in the room to accompany the tea and coffee cups. Additionally, having room service available would make a big difference—especially after long tours and returning late in the evening when it would be nice to order a meal without leaving the room. The staff at check-in were wonderful. The young lady who assisted us was exceptionally kind and welcoming—she set a great first impression and would be an excellent person to help train the check-out staff, as that experience was not quite as friendly. I also want to recognize the gentleman who helped us with our luggage; he was very attentive and professional. The on-site Starbucks was a great convenience and a nice touch. Overall, I loved staying here and would happily return. With the addition of room service and a few small in-room amenities, the experience would be even better."
