"Chosen for a weekend to celebrate my birthday. The accommodation was warm, comfortable and had everything we needed. It was clean and well laid out. The owners were lovely , unobtrusive but available if needed. The hot tub could do with lights along the path, the solar lights there weren’t working. The lid is also very heavy and I couldn’t manage it on my own. "

"We had a wonderful experience staying at Keepers Cottage. The cottage was in a stunning setting, deep in the countryside but very central for a variety of attractions and towns to visit. Lesley met us at the door and was very warm and welcoming. The house was bright and spacious with all the amenities we could have wished for, including a hot tub, which was a great added bonus. There were 3 comfortable bedrooms which was perfect for our multi-generational trip and a cosy lounge area. We allthoroughly enjoyed our stay. We would not hesitate to book again!"

"This is a beautiful old farmhouse. The exterior pictures on the listing don’t do it justice really. The bedrooms are lovely: all very large with crisp white bedding. The birdsong is like a symphony. We had a fire every night in the fireplace in the big lounge. It has 3 sofas so was really comfy and roomy. Kitchen is well equipped with a long table to eat in and then another absolutely enormous dining table in the dining room next to the kitchen. We loved the outdoor space which has a hammock chair and a 3 seater outdoor sofa and looks onto a lawn surrounded by trees. It could probably do with a couple more outdoor chairs as otherwise there is only a picnic bench which isn’t that close to the other chairs so we couldn’t all sit out together but it’s a small gripe. You can walk to Skenfrith Castle just a few minutes down the road and there is a path within the Castle grounds which leads down to a river where you can swim. Beautiful location with lots of walks, although very hilly (some hills of 45 degrees for quite a distance) so not the best for the older family members."
