"Really friendly welcome at reception and we quickly got our keys for two twin rooms. The rooms were fine, clean and comfortable. We used the hotel to stay overnight before a Channel Tunnel crossing which was just 10 minutes away. It was the cheapest hotel that I could find in the area and exceeded my expectations. The decor was improved from the hotel's appearance on Channel 4's "4 In A Bed" a few years previous. Slightly disappointed that they don't offer breakfast, but Gingers in Hythe was excellent. "

"The actual unit was nice, and clean to my standards, which is saying something. There were several issues though: the address listed for maps actually took me to another holiday park and that gentleman had to give me directions. Listed amenities included the pool, Wi-Fi, and air conditioning. When we arrived, I was informed that there was a £16 pass to use the pool, so that was out. As I mentioned, the unit was nice, well-cleaned and maintained. However, there was no hand soap, no towels, no bed linens, no bin liners, or anything to wash dishes with. It made me think of a brand new place that hasn't been utilized yet. Also, no Wi-Fi, so my signal was basically non-existent, and no air con. Luckily, there are lots of windows, so we were able to get it cooled off. I contacted the property manager, and there was a lot of back and forth regarding the bed/bath linens, and i still don't really know what happened, but long story short, we never got any. It was a lot of frustration when I was really looking forward to relaxing."

"Everything went really well. Naomi had left clear instructions on how to access the property etc. The cottage is well stocked with all cleaning products, which is always good as it helps you to clear and clean as you go along!The beds were really comfy and there was the bonus of a ceiling fan during the heat wave.Lots to do in the town and surrounding areas. Hope to be back! Thanks."

"Although an old pub this is an excellent place for friends and family to stay for a celebration or to explore the surrounding area. Very clean and a great kitchen, Bedrooms vary but all comfortable. Overall very good."
