" The very small room was up with the pigeons and 1 of us was a pensioner, breakfast wasnt that clever, mushrooms were cold tomato wasnt cooked properly hash brown was disgusting and our sausages looked like 2 turds on the plate wouldnt stay again pods are great out back to sit in"
"Great hotel. Had a nice upgrade. The room had a comfy bed and was very clean. There was an ac unit in the bedroom which helped cool the room down. The only thing was the shower pressure was very low and cut out a couple of times. "
"Stay was really nice, really close to town centre everything is walkable.
Bed really comfy, great bath/shower.
Parking is a couple of minutes walk so no problem there."
"Amazing space. Was absolutely PERFECT for our group and honestly really made the stay.
Did have a small issue with a pillow being unclean but they replaced quickly :) "

"Great hotel, friendly staff, spotless comfortable room with great choice of breakfast. Lots of car parks around it and only short walk to the city centre. "
"The staff in every section were fantastic, Cheerful, helpful and very polite. Food was cooked to perfection, Breakfast had plenty of choice and would cook extra things for you if they had it. For us, a couple in our 70's it was absolutely 100% perfection and if we come back to Chester again we will certainly be staying here."
"We stay at the hotel once a year as a treat. It’s such a unique and friendly hotel with fantastic staff. It’s a very old hotel but they keep it updated but somethings like not having walk in showers might put some off as the shower is a curtain around the bath but that just adds to the charm for us. Chester is a lovely place to visit and the hotel is in a great location. "
"Such a nice place to stay and the staff were so lovely and welcoming. My daughter loved the fries from the night before that much that she asked for them again for breakfast 😅 As weird a request it was at 9am, they did them for her. I think things like that really go a long way. We’ll definitely be staying again."
