"The best kept secret in Chester. You step outside the gate and you’re straight onto the side of river. Such a peaceful place to stay, yet within a 5 minute walk of the park, town wall and the town centre."
"Location is perfect and a nice walk into the main shopping area.
Lots of local restaurants and bars and very close the the race course if you are visiting for the races.
Hotel its self is very good and the gym is perfect for what I needed it for on the move. "
"Loved staying here, very clean and tidy and great for the kids. Lovely breakfast and evening meal in the restaurant. Nice and quiet and a fantastic location.
Only downside was the lift wasn’t working. Managed fine up two flights of stairs but with the kids and their many bags it would have been easier in the lift. And there was a slight gap under the shower screen so the bathroom floor ended up a little wet after a shower."
"We stayed here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. I had booked a superior king bedroom but they had upgraded us to a suite which was so special, there was a card in the room congratulating us on our 16th anniversary. Such lovely touches to make the experience truly memorable. The bed was huge, comfortable and clean. The suite was spacious with a great view of the beautiful city of Chester.
The breakfast was very tasty from the freshly squeezed orange juice to the home baked pastries.
I would recommend the Chester Grosvenor to everyone and anyone, particularly if you are celebrating something and want a memorable experience.

"We loved our stay in this house, it is perfect for a large group. We found that the beds were comfortable, there was lots of space to relax and the property was very clean. It was easy to find and was in a good location, only 10 minutes from the middle of Chester. We would definitely recommend this house, thank you for a brilliant stay!"
"Very friendly staff and lovely restaurant/ bar. Bit confusing as a walking couple arriving at the station and trying to find the hotel but when leaving found the easy route back to the train station. If researched better would have been easy."
