"On the West Cliffs with a lovely view of the sea and the harbour from our third floor room (the stairs were tiring after a long day!). Breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice. For £3 the guest house can provide a parking card valid for four days in Whitby. We had no trouble parking in the street around the corner."
"The apartment was as described and in a very good location. The Prosecco and chocolate were a lovely welcome gift.
Unfortunately the cleanliness was not up to standard but we have discussed this with the owners and hopefully it has been addressed "
"The place was clean, tidy and modern. I have very few complaints about the actual apartment. The bed was comfy, clean towels were provided and the whole apartment was nice.
Unfortunately, the window in the bedroom would not open and in the warm temperature, made the room hot and humid and the nights quite uncomfortable. I used a reasonable amount of force to try and get the window open but I did not want to force it too much and get blamed for breaking anything.

"Parking space very small to the point my husband had to climb over to the passenger side to exit the car. Rear entrance very grotty. Flat itself was ok and clean but small double bed lumpy and uncomfortable. Bedroom also very hot and stuffy. Good use of a small space though and well equipped "

"We had a very nice stay at The Esklet Guest House. The owner met us on arrival and gave a very clear instruction on the parking arrangements. It is on street parking, the owner gave us a parking disc for the first night and also a permit for the following two days. Very useful to have clear instruction rather than be left to figure it out yourself.
The accomodation was a large ground floor room. Very clean and comfortable. There is no breakfast as was made clear on the booking, but there is something wrong if you can't find a decent breakfast in Whitby!
All in all we were very pleased with The Esklet and would be happy to stay again next time we visit Whitby.

"We stayed in room 17, parrot room. Very large space. TV was obscured by 4 poster bed frame, would be better above mantle.
The room is by the front door, and the room above must be wooden floored as we heard a lot of footsteps/lpud thuds on the ceiling.
We paid £3 for a parking permit for the W zone, but didnt find a parking space so ended up at the leisure centre - 10 min walk away
Bed was comfy, but very soft. Pillows need replacing. But it was clean, comfy, roomy and comms were good re checking in.

"Lovely cottage close to town centre. It’s has a private back yard perfect for evening drinks. Nice spacious bedrooms and bathroom. Beautiful view of the abbey from the top floor. Fully equipped kitchen. Owners very helpful. Situated in a quiet street with zone parking (provided) not too far away or a pay and display very close by. This is our second time in Penrith house and I’m sure we’ll be back! "
