"The hotel is in an ideal location away from the busy crowds with a lovely sea view. The room we had was on the top floor which I prefer but there is no lift so lots of climbing which with luggage gets the heart going! The room was clean and plenty big enough for us 3. There is a free car park which is a bonus but is very tight to get into and a short walk from the property."

"I had not realised the hotel rooms are in a separate building to the pub and breakfast area. As a single older woman had I realised this I would not have stayed here as I felt a little bit isolated as should I have had an issue (which thankfully I did not) it felt like there were no staff around once the pub was closed. The room was fine had everything required for one nights stay and was clean and spacious but a lot like many of the budget chain brands. The food in the pub in the evening was ok nothing special and a bit overpriced for what it was but because of the location you are limited for choice so they can charge what they want. Only thing that was excellent was the friendliness of the staff that greet you in the pub as you have to go into the pub to check in they were very welcoming"

"We had a great 1 night stay , from checking in to leaving staff were friendly. Spacious room with little extras to use which I thought was a nice touch . . Great breakfast. All in all excellent value . Well done to the Union Inn"

"Lovely stay! Staff extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming. Property was clean. Lovely breakfast for ‘continental’. We had a loft room which was extremely warm during the heatwave. Luckily we didn’t bring the dogs as it would have been too warm for them despite providing a fan. This was the only down fall, luckily we didn’t go in the peak heat and it wouldn’t put us off going again."

"The property could benefit from some exterior TLC but inside was spotless. We stayed in the annexe and it was lovely. Clean and well appointed. The staff were so helpful and friendly."
