"Comfortable and clean; nice location near the Campsies. The conservatory/breakfast room looked nice but we did not eat here as were attending a family reunion; next time will try it. Couple wee things; no instructions in our room for the electric shower so took time to work it out; also first morning no hot water in bathroom sink but working again that evening. Very friendly and helpful gentleman on reception when we checked in"

"VERY large room! We had room 15 with a balcony and 2 twin beds. The bathroom was big, has heated floors and a heated towel rack, and good water pressure in the shower. In the closet, there was also spare bedding and a disabled seat for the shower. The beds weren't my favorite, but they did the job. Nice cookies with the coffee pot. It feels like a little apartment. Reception staff was very friendly and helpful. We had dinner there, and the haggis was tasty - very meaty, light on the oats....

"We stayed in a hillside chalet for two nights with our little dog. The chalet had perfect views of the lake and it felt very private. You could hear the birds singing and we even saw a red squirrel right outside our window. The chalet has a rustic feel, with a very comfortable king sized bed, bathroom, and a handy fridge.
