The Burlington Hotel

8/10 Good

"Everything was very well organised and delivered. The building is dated but scrupulously clean. The staff were welcoming, helpful and kind-hearted, There was a singer in the Ballroom in the evening which was good. My only complaint is that the TV in my room wouldn't work. It would switch on but not access any channel. Also, the lifts were very small so there was usually a queue for them. The price was very fair although I had to pay £6/night for parking. Breakfast was excellent - everything you could want and perfectly cooked. I don't know how they kept the buffet so fresh. I've stayed at many more expensive hotels that couldn't match it! The location was excellent - right on the seafront opposite the pier. I will stay there again - first choice."

"I had a really high expectation for my stay at the Harbour hotel and spa, particularly as I paid a higher than normal price for the room and the stay period. The overall experience was good and the staff were very helpful and friendly, however there were a few things that were quite disappointing. The breakfast was underwhelming and, for what I paid for, did not meet expectation. I thought there would be a full English breakfast buffet but it was just a small set meal. The room was nice and cosy but I found a lot of dust and dirt. Places like the radiator, the room appliances and a lot of collected dirt and dust in the bathroom air fan. There was no room phone as this would have been handy to call reception and room service. The spa and gym amenitites were good. The bubbling bathtubs in the dungeon area of the spa were out of order which was unfortunate as this was one of the main things I was looking forward to using. The swimming pool was okay and I enjoyed the jacuzzi, wet room and sauna. Overall, my experience of my hotel stay was good, not quite amazing as I had wanted it to be."

"We usually stay here when in Brighton. There are hotels closer to the centre but Brighton is pretty small and the hotel is very nice - especially the sea view rooms. The place seems to have recently had a facelift. Good selection at breakfast and the light bites in the bar are good with quick service."

"I had wonderful stay at Hotel Langfords in September and was extremely satisfied with my experience. The hotel was very clean, comfortable and well-maintained, and the facilities were excellent. I would especially like to express my sincere appreciation to the reception staff, who were exceptionally kind, welcoming, respectful and helpful throughout my stay. Whenever I needed anything, they were always happy to assist, and my room was cleaned daily upon request. Their kindness, professionalism and attention to guests made me feel genuinely welcome and comfortable. My heartfelt thanks and congratulations to the entire team for their excellent service. Five stars, absolutely well deserved ! 👍 I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone and will be delighted to stay here again."

"I have stayed at the hotel many times. The lady who checked me in was very quick and very friendly. The hotel is very clean and parking is very easy. It’s one of my favourite hotels with gym and swimming even it’s not very big but I have never seen it being very busy."
