"We booked a last minute getaway and we weren't disappointed. We stayed 2 years ago in October. The room was a small double - very comfortable withvrea and coffee making facilities. Bathroom was a bit cramped but lovely walk in shower. Highly was being on the ground floor opening on to the garden was perfect for our dog. He could sniff around in the gardens directly in front of our room freely but we kept an eye to ensure he didn't wander off. Dogs aren't allowed in public areas inside hotel but it was fine as we were able to leave him in the room when we had breakfast and dinner. However, there was a function room we could have used to eat and drink if we needed to keep our dog with us. The staff were all lovely.... very attentive and helpful. Breakfast was really good.... with a great selection and an extra choice of speciality cooked food. Dinner was very nice too with a great choice of food abd excellent service. The dining room had a fabulous view over the bay. In fact, the view over the bay from the gardens was stunning. Steps down to the beach are not for the faint hearted (154!) .....down was fine but up was hard work. You can walk along promenade and walk round on path if you wanted to. We can't wait to visit again."
"Beautiful rooms, decorated in a modern seaside palette, ours had a roll top bath and balcony… all dog friendly and with a view of the cove and a short walk down to the cove. "
