the cost of everthing was over the top and there were no shops nearby...awaful awful. they drinks at the pool was more then a club in mexico city. i stayed here before and was disappointed when i realised it was the same place when i arrived.

We stayed for two nights in the hotel after being at the timeshare for a week. The hotel is still being renovated by the Marriott, and I can’t wait to see it when it is finished. All of the staff was wonderful, but I want to give a special shout out to Oliver, who went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable. Also, Ivan, Arturo, and all of the bell boys, are the best!!

All the hotel side staff was outstanding. Restaurants were outstanding. Architecture and Decor of traditional Mexican. Facilities have some wear and tear and Jacuzzi's were less than optimal at times on temperature and water level. Pools are beautiful. The water from the reportedly self contained water treatment plant seemed to be safe for ingesting.. Amenities outside the resort did not appear to be walkable though Uber was very easy to summon and reasonably priced. We liked the mid-distance between Cabo San Lucas and San Jose Del Cabo this resort provides. We would definitely be happy to stay here again!.

Bait and Switch

This is a hotel that does Bait and Switch. They promoted their Club Hotel, which we reserved, which was more expensive. When we got there, they put us in their Autograph Hotel. When I looked up the Autograph Hotel, it offered breakfast and was cheaper. Since that hotel had lower star ratings, I opted to pay more and pay for the Club Hotel.

This was our second time staying here and like the First it was Perfect! Check-In was smooth. The staff at Tomates (Lino,Adelina,Rocio,Mageli & the Chef) are the best! Great Service and very attentive to you. When we arrived (Ivan & Rene) we very helpful as soon as we pulled up. The room was Perfect for the occasion. Beautiful Ocean view and the cleaning staff was Nice & Friendly. Will be back soon!

En lo particular me gustó mucho el hotel está retirado solo un poco pero puedes tomar Uber y sale 150 pesos más o menos al centro de los cabos, la playa está súper limpia super tranquilo porque no hay gente que pueda pasar solo la hospedada, las instalaciones me perecieron muy bien está muy bonito para pasar una estancia romántica o para relajarse realmente volvería otra vez

HDM was not overly crowded. The restaurants all served fantastic food. The service was slow, but worth the wait. The beach was nice, but swimming wasnt recommended. The pool areas made up for the lack of ocean swimming.
