"Had a really lovely stay at the Strand Palace. We recieved a free upgrade to a King size double room. The hotel was reasonably quiet and the food was great, a huge selection was available for breakfast. The only slight criticism is that the cold water tap in the ensuite bathroom kept running hot. Don't know what was wrong with the plumbing, but it wasn't very convenient to brushing your teeth!"

"The Corus Hotel Hyde Park staff, especially manager Dante Domingo, were very helpful and professional. I had nice interactions with everyone working there at the lobby and restaurant. The location is stellar right on Hyde Park, easy to walk to the underground at Lancaster Gate and Paddington Station. Good restaurants around. "

"Our stay at the Mandeville was outstanding. The main reason for this was the concierge, Said. He helped me so much, especially with my wheelchair, recommendations, hailing taxis, and anticipating my needs as I am mobility challenged. He's worth the stay there! The rest of the staff was also efficient and friendly, the hotel is nicely located close to everything, and the room was very clean. I'll stay there anytime I'm in London!"

"The decor is very modern and appealing. Most front desk staff members were friendly and helpful. The two security people outside the bar were aloof and standoffish. The rooms were comfortable for the most part except for the extra high tubs that were extremely difficult and dangerous to navigate. The replenishing of water bottles was appreciated."

"Room was very small, ok for one person really. As we weren't a couple we upgraded to get a slightly bigger room, but the space around the bed was tight. Had to climb over to get into it. Everywhere was clean and staff mostly helpful. Despite having kitchen facilities there was nothing to use, we had to ask for a kettle to go with the supplied tea and coffee. And no glasses. Lovely pool area though."
