Hopefully, we checked in early otherwise we would have stayed in the under-roof room, we changed and it was perfect. Staff, hotel, surroundings really we could recharge our batteries...Wonderful Scotland. Special mention for the food. Being French I am very jingoistic on the subject but this time I have to recognize that the meals on the menu, and the a la carte are amazing. We really came across new flavors, new meal presentation, you imagine beetroots jelly as decoration and to enhance the...

I really enjoyed my stay at the Doghouse. Having stayed in some lovely hotels over the years, many of them are similar and monotonous. The Doghouse REALLY stands out from the crowd. The room itself was fantastic - on two levels with plenty of space, a large bed, sofa, kitchen and bathroom. The rooms are completely soundproof. There was no noise from the bar or other rooms at...

This hotel is outstanding. Every little detail, from the eggs benedict to the shower, the bath. The staff are warm and friendly and extremely competent. The room was spotless, the bed was huge and so comfortable. The shower was like standing under a waterfall. Best hotel in Scotland, in my experience. Didnt find a single flaw.
