"Hotel was amazing, great food and very helpful staff. A couple of notes. You need to book the pool times in advance. There is no easy way to get to the Fota house on foot from the hotel. Many thanks to hotel for helpings us out. Breakfast was substantial"

Hayfield Manor

Hayfield Manor

10/10 Excellent
"One of the best hotel experiences I've ever had (and I do stay at 5-star places regularly). Spacious and clean room with great lighting and chairs and windows that open, and hooks, and big bottles of filtered water. Great food. The warmest, most welcoming staff ever, with sharp competent energy all of them, who never looked like they didn't want me to approach but instead were relaxed and made eye contact readily and seemed genuinely pleased to see me. I said once "I want to live here" and she said "we would love to have you" -- untrue I'm sure but SO KIND! Lovely garden, and many places to sit and relax and read and have tea. I genuinely cannot gush enough. Liam helped me hire a driver for a wonderful day out -- he is a treasure. THANK YOU HAYFIELD MANOR. I'll be back someday."
