"This an older hotel building but the room was updated and very clean. The area felt safe. The owner was amazing and very genuine, offering me bottled water upon my entering the office. This is a family ran hotel and one of the family members during my stay while passing by was ensuring that my stay was good. This isn’t fancy fancy but very reasonable rates and excellent customer service. Thank you for a great stay. "

"Old charm to the place. We were welcomed with a fresh baked cookie ,which was delicious and just made the whole chk in process stress free. The front desk was extremely helpful , especially Margot. Would definitely come bk to this hotel ."

"The hotel is lovely, charming and in a great location for shops and walking. The dining menu and meals are wonderful, with a southern flair. Although not important to us, we found the pool use to be impractical. The pool is located at the college with limited hours."

"The clerk was very helpful. The room was clean and the bathroom had shampoo, conditioner, and body soap. We had plenty of clean towels. The only thing was that the parking lot was kinda dark and scary. We are an older couple and we were in the back part of the building."
