We usual stay at chain hotels but took a chance on this one, well I’m glad we did. Safe easy parking 3 minute walk to the beach the hotel supplies beach chairs umbrellas snd beach towels. Well equipped kitchenette

We were not greeted by anyone on our arrival even though the office said open from 9am to 9 pm, we arrived at 6:15pm. When questioning the parking and whether we needed a parking permit, someone spoke from a speaker outside the office door.The owners did not have the courtesy to greet us, nor welcome us. There was not a soul in sight, their greeting was basically an email with a code for the lockbox containing the room key. This raised concern for safety, no gate, everything was open to street and anyone could walk around. The furniture was old and worn, the air conditioner was very noisy all night. I assumed that checkout was 11 am as in most places. So when I found out before arriving that it was 10 am, I called to request a late checkout. We also had a late flight out checkout day. The owner allowed us to stay til 11:30am. I offered to pay for an extended time but he was not accommodating and I was grateful to have the extension with no cost. But the next morning, housekeeping was already knocking at the door wanting us out at 10 am. He left to come back and right at 11 on the dot, he was back again, stepped into our room to start cleaning with us still in the room. We exited at 11:10. This was extremely frustrating and very annoying, very pushy. This place is not friendly, obviously promising accommodation but with reneging on the promise. I am extremely disappointed with Soleado, would definitely NOT return nor would I ever recommend to anyone.

I was there for eight days. Great location two blocks from the beach. Walking distance to bars and restaurants but not too close. Clean and well-maintained. Bed was comfortable but mattress was sagging a bit on one side. The barbeque needs to be replaced. Other than that, I would definitely recommend and would go back again.

We have really enjoyed this Boutique Hotel! Will definitely stay here again! Loved the area, so close to everything and we felt very safe. We walked to The Galleria and the beach is just a little over a block away! The room/apartment had everything we needed. King size bed was very comfortable and the room with the blackout curtains was nice and dark for sleeping. We had no problem with noise. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance!!

What Ft.Lauderdale was before all of the high rises. This is a wonderful area, walkable to the beach, great food options. The hotel was clean, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen is very well stocked for a longer day great outdoor area to sit and have a barbecue. The pool was beautiful and clean. Our window latch was broken when we arrived the hotel owners responded within minutes and fixed the issue. A great addition to have access to the beach, chairs, and umbrella, anytime return to Fort Lauderdale. This is where I will be staying.

If you’re thinking about booking a stay at Soleado, do it! We had an excellent stay. Our apartment was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed to stay for a week. Housekeeping comes every day and they were really good at replacing the toilet paper, paper towels and soap when it looked like we were running low. It’s a quick, easy walk to the beach. There are plenty of restaurants and/or bars within a short walking distance as well. We would definitely stay here again if planning to come back to the area.

My boyfriend and I stayed for 2 nights for a quick birthday trip. The hotel is not too big so there’s minimal walking which we loved. The beach is only a block away so there’s no problem finding it or getting to it. There was also a small local grocery store that has reasonably priced items nearby with anything that you’d need in a pinch. The hotel was prompt in sending our check-in information for our room and was kind, offering to assist if we ever did need help with anything. The inside of the room was clean and nice with beach equipment which was such a great surprise! We had a little trouble getting the temperature of the shower right the first night but after we figured it out there was no problem. We loved our stay and will be returning in the future!!

We felt the room was ok. The a/c units were very noisy, the shower was a little disappointing, the sink in the bathroom constantly would not drain making it impossible to use the sink. Owners came to sort out the shower and were helpful and friendly. Overall a 6/10

Stayed here for a week for my birthday!! Check in was quick and easy with the sweetest man!! We stayed in the apartment room!! it was huge and so nice and very clean!! Great living room area, kitchen had a full fridge and freezer (I brought my own ice trays to make ice) and it had cutlery, plates etc! everything you need! (bring a sponge to do dishes) There is a coffee maker (I brought my own coffee and filters as it is not provided but no big deal!) The bedroom was nice and big with a walk-in closet and large dresser! The bathroom was clean and had lots of hot water and good pressure! We got fresh towels everyday from housekeeping (who were also VERY nice!!) The location is PERFECT! super close to the ocean (with chairs and an umbrella you can take from your room to use). Also close to so many amazing restaurants! All walkable! We walked to dinner every night! The pool is nice and clean and there was free parking for our rental truck! Yes some of the furniture was a bit dated, but that didn't affect our stay at all! We can't wait to come back!!

Property shows some age but it is very clean and quiet. Nice little restaurants near by. 5 min walk to the beach. The hotel offers beach towels.chairs and umbrella for the beach. Pool is very clean and nice. The staff was very helpful. Staff mostly speak Spanish and a little bit English. Good opportunity to learn language. Will keep this address for future stay in Fort Lauderdale. Score 8.5/10

This hotel is very accommodating. I arrived wanting to check in earlier and the owner let me check in 3 hours earlier. The room was clean and in a good location. Everything is nearby, the beach and restaurants are at a walking distance.

Property present with some age but very clean. Close to the beach (5 min walk) . Lots of bistro,bar and restaurants near by all walking distance. Staff at the hotel very nice and helpful. Time to practice or learn some Spanish. In general « in petit bijou » that I intend to return to on a future trip.

We had a very good experience; property was very clean, staff were exceptionally kind and patient. Access to beach, parks/Bonnet House, dining all good, and beach chairs/towels were added bonus.
