Awesome Spot, Amazing Host
This was our first visit to the Fort Walton area. My wife and I arrived on Friday and were joined by our three teens and two adult children on Sunday. We had a great time and I highly recommend the property and host.
You won't be disappointed if you rent from Cory. He was responsive and helpful, and didn't give us a ridiculous list of 6,000 things to do before we left like you often see on these platforms.
The unit was immaculate when we arrived. It sleeps up to eight pretty comfortably. The host provided a lot of extras we don't usually see. There were labels on light switches, a digital and paper guide to the area, and extra soaps, shampoos, Ninja blender, grill, water toys, etc. Plenty of games for bad weather use, and a little retro Atari we used to play Wheel of Fortune. 😆
We were a short walk to the beach, but ended up realizing the closest beach has public parking so we started using that to get our tent and gear to the beach most days.
The pool area is peaceful and clean.
The parking is convenient.
Nice little oyster bar within about a 5-minute walk, among other close-by spots. Crab Island is a short drive.
No complaints. Rent this unit.
