We had a great stay in this property, it is in an unspoilt area close to 2 towns with all you need. A car is required to access the surrounding areas, climbing the local volcano is a must , lovely places to eat in cottilo, the area is safe and quiet ideal for kids, small pool is gorgeous and quiet. Great value for money , we would definitely return .

Relaxing.
Unfortunately, the breakfast bar was broken and propped up on books, we believe this is being addressed, but we feel we should have been informed as it was dangerous. Also, someone was supposed to have brought a key for the pool area, no one arrived. The positives, the house is homely, set in a quiet area with uninterreputed views of the coast and Lanzarote. The kitchen is compact but well equipped, the king-size bed and pillows very comfortable, lots of wardrobe space. The WiFi was constant, and books and dvds in the house, constant hot water. Communication with the host was good, and the neighbours lovely and very helpful. The pool is a 2 minute walk. As previously mentioned, a car is required, but Lajares is 7 mins away and has a few amenities, Corallejo and El Cotillo about 20 mins , they have everything required. We have had a lovely time and would return.

Great location on stunning Island
Property is in need of a little TLC. Outside furniture at the front needs replacing and inside could do with redecorating and updating. That said we enjoyed our stay.

Nice property if some details addressed
The property is in the north of the island close to all the major natural attractions. As long as you rent a car you'll be fine. We arrived late after dark. The drive was a mission as the property is on an resort which is down some very long country roads. It took a bit of back and forwards in the resort itself to find the property. The property itself was just ok. It would be great little place to stay if some little details were addressed. Some of which made the stay frustrating. Not sure why they haven't been sorted. The front door lock jams and takes a fair few attempts to unlock the door. This happened every single day on our return from trips. The advert says kettle and toaster but both are missing. There was a kettle to use on the hob but it was very rusty inside. We messaged the owner and were promised a toaster which never came. Ended up making tea and coffee in the microwave and toast in the frying pan. Not ideal. The curtains were not blackout so we not able to get bedroom dark. We worked out how to lower the security shutters and used them all week to darken the room. The lounge curtains had broken hooks so were looking very sad. The villa had not been cleaned at all well with food crumbs still on the coffee table, dining table and front room floor. The floor was very dusty and we used slippers all week. When we wanted to use the oven, there were no oven trays to place your food onto to cook it. The bathroom door jammed on the floor and had to be shoved hard every time you went in or out of the room. The walk-in shower needs a curtain as you flooded the bathroom every time you had a shower. We ended up bringing the mop in to use after every shower. The back garden was unkempt, full of weeds and messy with a barbeque that has seen better days. It was dirty and full of ash but even if clean it desperately needs replacing. We were overall disappointed with our stay as these niggles would be easy to resolve and really should be taken care of so as to make the stay for every renter so much more enjoyable.

A welcome winter break
After 2 years of not being able to travel abroad we were in need of a little getaway from the winter weather and hussle and bustle of the UK. The property is located on a large but very quiet complex with far reaching views of the coast. The villa is compact but has everything you need, including a comfortable bed! A car is essential but the towns of Lajares, El Cottillo and Corralejo are within 15 - 30 minutes on well maintained roads. Communication with the owners was really good and we loved out stay, thank you!

Perfetta!!
Una villetta davvero tranquilla! Con tutto il necessario per trascorrere una vacanza in tranquillità, fornita di ogni comfort,sia per rilassarsi in giardino sia per cucinare! A 15 minuti circa da corraejo, e per gli amanti del surf una spiaggia rocciosa per surfare. Che dire, super raccomandata per trascorrere le vostre vacanze a fuerteventura 👍👍👌👌🤙

Very quiet place, spacious villa and everything what you need for the best holiday!
Rear and back garden to enjoy warm evenings, BBQ, rooftop terrace, big flat tv, DVD, loads of movies, books and games. To pool just 1min by walk. Water park, small supermarket and 2 bars 1 restaurant - 3 min walk. Just if you want a bigger shopping or more places to eat you have to drive 5 min by car because complex of villas are totally separated from civilisation :) It is actually in the middle of nowhere, but for the best relaxation it's just what you need! Next to the ocean with a beautiful views of mountains and Lanzarote. You definitely need a rental car, but even if you don't drive you can spend all your time there and won't be disappointed. Dinner at the restaurant cost €18 per person but when it's all inclusive: starters, main meals, fruits, deserts, soft drinks and even alcohol (beer/vine/shampain). Every evening show program, dance and loads of fun. Highly recommend! Enjoy!

We had a relaxing break in this well equipped, comfortable clean spacious house. Pool onsite was wonderful and its a short walk to the beach. Short drive to beaches suitable for swimming. Will visit again. Wifi very limited hence four stars from me.

The place to go if you are looking for peace
The property is really great, just like on the pictures (however the bathroom looks actually nicer in real life). Comfortable bed and bedding (note: the bed is UK king size, 150x200, might be a surprise if you expect the US king size, like I did), fully equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, over, big fridge and freezer, TV, DVD player and safe. There were even DVDs and books as well as tons of info on the island and the Origo Mare complex. The house is at the BEST part of the complex in my opinion, no loud neighbours, no music and disturbing noises can be heard (the aquapark is perfectly non-audible from the house). I really loved the location of the house on the island, situated in the middle of nowhere, however Corralejo and Cotillo are close enough to visit. You definitely need a car here if you want to move around (I suggest Payless car rental on the airport, worked as a charm for us, all included, geat price, great car). The only downside is that we couldn't fully enjoy the garden and terrace because of the wind that seemingly never stops, a common guest on the island (perfect though if you came here for surfing). Same thing with the pool, it is also very nice and well maintained, but the water is quite cold (mainly for a baby :) ) and together with the wind... well, you'll be a bit chilly there. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and I definitely recommend Carline and Kevin's house!

Lovely accommodation in a peaceful complex
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The accommodation was clean and spacious- we had everything we needed! The complex was peaceful and we often found we had the pool to ourselves! Use of the tennis courts was also a bonus! We would definitely recommend staying here- I would also recommend hiring a car if you wish to explore the island! Thank you! Gina

The villa was very clean and bright with all conveniences.
We were there for a month. We motored around exploring for the first week then hired bikes for the next two before getting a car for the last week. The complex is very clean and quiet and the pool was wonderful. I know March might have been a bit early but I was in for a wake up swim every day. The beaches nearby are deserted and we had the place to ourselves. We frequently cycled 30-40 KM on round trips to El Cotillo and Corralejo. Our neighbouring villa owners Malcolm and Julie were friendly and helpful. We would definitely consider returning in the future as we have fallen for Fuerteventura!

Amazing villa with stunning views set in a wonderfully peaceful place.
Wow Wow Wow !!!! Villa Carev is located on the north of the island with spectacular views of the sea and surrounding landscape especially from the private roof terrace. The villa has loads of room and is beautifully decorated with everything you need for your stay. There's a shop, bar, small waterpark, adult only pool, mini golf, bike/surf hire all only a couple of mins walk away. The nearest beach is only 5 mins walk away where you can relax on the sand or enjoy a nice swim or if your adventurous you can join the surfers and try your hand on some of the best surfing waves anywhere... Due to the location of the villa and depending on your needs we would recommend hiring a car which is very cheap in fuertaventura ( €85 a week from payless.es ) and from the villa you are only minutes away from wonderful villages towns beaches and mountains. On the other hand if you just want to get away from everything and enjoy the peace and quite then villa Carev location is the place.... Summed up in one word PERFECT Dave & Maureen

We spent here our honeymoon. We loved everything about this beautiful place, it was nice and quiet, very tidy and spacious, very nice neighbors. :) We felt really welcome. Comortable parking. Communal pool is close to villa, so it felt like private. Very well-equipped kitchen, cozy living room, comfortable bed and sunbeds. We would definitely go back and recommend to family and friends!

We recently had a very enjoyable week at Villa Carev and would strongly recommend it to everyone. A well presented property in an ideal loction for getting away. Everything one could want or need was available. Pity it was too windy to take advantage of the excellent roof top sun terrace (NOT Kevin's fault). So ... Villa = 4 stars Facilities = 4 stars Cleanliness = 5 stars Location = 5 stars (car is needed to properly enjoy) Origo Mare Complex = 4.5 stars Communication with Owner = 5 stars All was not perfect though. My biggest disappointment was with the internet as it was slow and kept dropping and was non existant for about 24 hours. In case you haven't guessed, I'm an internet junkey so tend to choose holiday locations based largely on wifi. The saving grace here was that the on site hotel offered free wifi so was not totally without. Also, the bedroom needed soundproofing as there was a problem with the sliding door to the back garden which I brought to Kevin's attention and has now hopefully been fixed. Other than that; the villa, its facilities, the location and Origo Mare in general was perfect for the type of getaway I was needing/wanting. Oh yeah, it was a bit windy but the temps were in the low 20s with a fair amount of sun - a GREAT winter getaway!

Great stay in Villa Carev
We had a great stay at Villa Carev. The house is full equipped to have an enjoyable vacation. The Resort has all kind of facilities for those who want to enhance their vacation feelings. We enjoyed the front and back garden very much as well the sun roof. The views are amazing from the roof. For sure we will rent the house again when we shall plan again a holiday in Fuerteventura. One point of interest: in my opinion, a rental car is mandatory since the Villa is in an unspoiled part of the island and therefor to get anywhere a car is essential.

Helemaal GEEN verblijf!
Door een familiaal/medisch probleem van de eigenaar was niets geregeld. We konden daardoor niet terecht in het gehuurde huis. Vervolgens is niemand, ook VRBO op geen enkele wijze bereikbaar! Mijn partner is vanaf kindsbeen diabetes-1 waarvoor zulke stresssituaties absoluut ongewenst zijn. Conclusie: zware afrader als organisatie.

Bei Ankunft Garten Liegen defekt. Baum und Gartenschnitt in 8 Schwarzen Säcken liegen gelassen. Vermieterin wollte sich darum kümmern nichts ist passiert. Möbel sehr abgewohnt. Keine öffentlicher Bus um mal in einen anderen Ort zu kommen. Tagesticket vom Hotel kostet 18 Euro pro Person. Es war schon enttäuschend. Wir hatten uns das etwas anders vorgestellt.

The palm leaves did get removed. In the description for the property it clearly states that a hire car is highly recommended. We are very sorry you did not enjoy your stay at our house, but there are a lot of reviews for our house which disagree with your opinion. Kind regards

Kleines Appartement in einer ruhigen Wohnsiedlung.Die Dachterasse ist toll zum Sonnenbaden.TV Sender nur in englisch und spanisch.Die Küchenausstattung ist gut,alles nötige war vorhanden.Kleiner Supermarkt in der Hotelanlage,für größere Einkäufe ist der Eurospar in Corralejo zu empfehlen,dort bekommt man alles zu einem guten Preis.Ein Auto zu mieten ist ratsam,da die Wohnanlage ziemlich abgelegen ist.Ich war vier Wochen dort und habe es sehr genossen.Würde auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.Vielen Dank an Carline und Kevin

Todo bien, solo hubo un pero...
Estupenda vivienda para disfrutar del norte de la isla. Con todas las comodidades y con una tranquilidad total. No le doy 5 estrellas porque la piscina no estaba muy limpia y a veces la cerraban a las 17:00!! Aunque reconocemos que no es culpa de los propietarios sino de la comunidad de propietarios... En resumen: recomendable.

We hebben een heerlijke anderhalve week gehad in dit huisje, fijn en compleet keukentje en een heerlijk bed. We vonden het ook erg fijn dat de slaapkamer helemaal donker kon. Daarnaast ook niet erg lang rijden naar Corralejo of El Cotillo. Een hele fijne vakantie, dankjewel!

Ruhiges angenehmes Quartier für zwei Personen. Netter abgeschiedener Garten und Dachterrasse zum Sonnen. Sehr gut ausgestattete Küche, nur Kaffeemaschine fehlte. WLAN funktioniert sehr gut. Keine deutschen TV-Programme. Viel Abendprogramm im nahegelegenen Hotel. Ohne Mietauto nicht sinnvoll.

Nous avons passé une agréable semaine. La villa Carev est bien situé sur la côte nord, au calme et à proximité de lajares et coralejo , parfait pour surfer et profiter de la ville.

unkompleziert und sehr gemütlich
Ich möchte mich für die Unterkunft bei der Familie Cartwright bedanken. Mit meinem 8 jährigen Sohn hatte ich eine schöne unvergessliche Woche in der Villa Carev. Das Domizil liegt in ca. 40 min vom Flughafen. Caroline hat uns sehr genau den Weg beschrieben, kann man sich nicht verfahren :) Die Villa ist ein Teil von einem Luxusresort "Origo Mare". 15 min mit dem Auto von Corralejo entfernt. (Das Auto auf Fuerteventura ist sehr sehr empfehlenswert) Am Ort gibt es einen kleinen Supermarket, einen großen Pool mit Kinderrutschen. Restaurant und Bar. In Surfshop gibt es viele günstige Aktivitäten. Die Villa ist sauber und sehr gut ausgestattet. Auf dem Terrasse können Sie einen schönen Blick zu Ozean und Bergen geniessen. Im vorderen Garten kann man ganz gemütlich chillen. Im hinterem - grillen. Perfekt für 2 oder kleine Familie.

un posto incantevole....
Ottima location per raggungere i surf spot a nord ovest dell'isola, alloggio più che perfetto, confortevole, pulito e completo di tutto (perfino la lavastoviglie), villa carev si trova all'interno di un complesso residenziale con molti servizi per i bambini (piscina, parco acquatico e animazione), giardino molto funzionale per i momenti di relax dopo le surf session, proprietari corretti e disponibili per qualsiasi imprevisto (causa vento e salsedine è saltata connessione wifi, ripristinata con invio del tecnico). consigliata e ci ritorneremo nei nostri prossimi viaggi a Fuerteventura. Très satisfait de cette location
Cette location est bien située, au calme et tous les services à proximité. Nous avons apprécié le confort de cette location bien équipée (une cafetière électrique serait appréciable). Les deux terrasses ensoleillées sont vraiment super. Nous avons profité de la mer et de la possibilité de faire des balades à pieds aux alentours.
